Guest guest
Oooohhh I need one of those. I just ordered a eliptical trainer for hubby and I. I can't wait. I'm also waiting for my belly dancing DVD's Katy today i got my new heart rate monitor out and entered all of the proper settings for my age, height, weight and so on. i had a bunch of housework to do (mainly sweeping floors) so i decided to wear the HRM while doing that so i could make sure that i had it set up right and it was working ok. i want to use it, for real, during my workout tomorrow.anyway, i did around 90 minutes of housework, including a bit of dancing around , and while the HRM indicated that i was in my zone (60% to 90% of max heart rate) for only a couple of minutes, the HRM said that i burned over 300 calories! what?!?! is that for real?!?! that seems way too high to me... i was expecting 50, maybe 100 tops! LOLman, if i can burn that much just sweeping floors then think about how many cals i can burn doing an actual cardio workout! whoa! the thing is not hard to setup so i cant imagine that i messed it up and that it is giving a false reading due to that, but... maybe?? it is a polar f4. what do you think?:*carolyn.-- No virus found in this outgoing message.Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.Version: 7.1.371 / Virus Database: 267.14.9/217 - Release Date: 12/30/2005
Guest guest
90 minutes is a long time to be moving around and dancing Carolyn. I would say it's definitely possible! Enjoy your new toy! Can't wait to hear more what you think about it!
