Guest guest
Hi Stacey, I've been noticing this myself. I think about food almost all day, it's terrible. I try to eat a good breakfast and fruit as snacks. ~~
Guest guest
Stacey, When it gets cold here I feel the same way. I think it is the body's desire to put on a few extra pounds to insulate against the cold lol. I know when I am really thin I am so cold all the time (unless I am exercising and even then I am colder than I am with the extra weight) I find lower calorie versions of comfort food once in a while takes care of the high fat cravings (oven fried chicken breasts is a favorite here, also whole wheat pasta with lowfat milk and cheese sauce, mashed potatoes are good too). Healthy homemade cookies once in a while takes care of the sugar cravings and keeping a lot of healthy food for snacking makes a snack attack reasonably ok (I keep apples, carrots, bananas, bell peppers, and whatever else looks yummy) - when I feel a need for protein I have lowfat cream cheese (a weakness for me) and occassionally chicken breasts (I cook up an extra one and have a slice for a snack now and then) or fresh bread. Also I find especially in the winter I have to eat 5 small meals or I just feel so hungry all the time. I'm much more active in the winter so if I slip up now and then and have some food that isn't so great for me I don't worry so much. I just try to eat nice healthy food instead of going overboard on fatty food. And at least if I gain a pound or two its covered by sweaters and bulky coats:) billsgirl93 wrote: > Hi! Guest guest
Thank-you everyone for the good advise...So now I know at least that I'm not too crazy. I'm going to prepare snacks in advance and set them out so I can control my intake--once the snacks are gone--that's it--time to stop snacking! It's not like I'm eating a whole pie or anything--but at the same time a hand full of Cheez-its here and a few peanuts there plus a small portion of chocolate chips are going to creep up on me even though I am exercising. In the Spring I would love to have abs that show! Stacey > > Hi Stacey, > I've been noticing this myself. I think about food almost all day, it's > terrible.
