Guest guest
Hi All, Well, today is my last shot!!!! Also no more pills!!! YEEEEHAAAAAA! I can't believe I did it. For everyone else on meds, there is light at the end of this cold, dark tunnel. If I can do it (while working, raising kids, and being a housewife) than you can too. Now I start the waiting game for my next pcr test. THANKS to all in this group for giving advice when I needed it and also for just allowing me to sit back and read and not jump in on every issue brought to this group. Whenever I'd get online and read from you all, I always felt less alone and connected. A Big Thanks to for keeping us alive when the other group folded. I will continue to stay involved in this group. I love you all. Vicky
Guest guest
Praise God! Now I think I can make it too. 42 days till my last shot. We all give and take from this group in our own ways. You give us all a little more hope today. Thanks, and I hope you never suffer from this beast again. -dz- --- VicLea227@... wrote: > Hi All, > > Well, today is my last shot!!!! Guest guest
-dz- In 42 days we expect to see a message from you also....... We all have been a great support to each other, just by being ourself...... We each have our own personal problems to deal with.. This group makes it a lot easier to do that... I am thankful I have a place to express myself when I am feeling down!!!!! It is like a haven to get away from the everyday pressures...... We joke and kid, but we are all there for each other when the support is needed.... I have been dealing with some personal issues and I am not ready to discuss them at this point. One thing that comforts me, is the fact that I know that you all will be here when I am ready to do so.... Sending Love, Angels and Prayer to each and every one of you....... Thank you for being in my life. ;o Dennis.....Hope you are feeling better..... I have to know how this note thing turns out..... LOL........ Hope that you have a good weekend. Re: [ ] Digest Number 173 Hi All, Well, today is my last shot!!!! Also no more pills!!! YEEEEHAAAAAA! I can't believe I did it. Guest guest
I'm counting down the hours. I am very grateful to have this forum too. I'm not afraid to laugh, cry, bitch, whine, or whatever mood happens to take me. I don't really have that openness with even my family all the time, I try to put on a stronger face in front of them sometimes, I don't want to seem like a pity case. Here I know I can tell it like it is because you guys all know how tough it can get, emotionally and physically. Thanks, everybody and Diane, I wish you the strength to get through your issues, we'll be here to listen whenever you're ready to talk. -dz- --- diane214@... wrote: > -dz- In 42 days we expect to see a message from > you also....... Guest guest
I know it did still seem long, but when I looked backwards at how many days I've already been through, it gave me a little better perspective. I have a weeks vacation coming Thanksgiving week, I was expecting to go deer hunting, but don't think I'd be able to manage it. My wife will be gone to Idaho to visit her son. (We couldn't afford two tickets). So I'll have a week to hang with me and the dog and cat. I may try a few projects around the house, but expect to be getting lots of rest. -dz- --- <ralexan@...> wrote: > Hi DZ > > 42 days. Guest guest
We could all learn a lesson in unconditional love from our pets. There is an old joke why a man loves his dog more than his wife. " He's always glad to see me, and he don't talk back " . I suppose women could use the same argument. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > Dave I always hang with myself...the dog,...and the > cat..I'm use to it..I > don't hear any bitching...they don't mess anything > up...don't ask for > much...and love to see me if I come come in from > another room...Hey don't > that sound better than people do at times..My dog > loves me no matter what I > do or what type of mood I'm in... > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Larry: I don't know what GH will do for you if you have complications. My recommendation to you would be to stay an extra day after surgery. So if you were banded on Friday don't leave until Sunday. You will know if there's a complication in that time and your doctor will be able to handle it. But above all use an EXPERIENCED surgeon, this will make all the difference in the world!
