Funny. I didn't find the directions 'crummy', and they do differ with what told you. They specify a full inch apart. I understand also that the 'boiling water' simply speeds up the process, but doesn't affect the quality of the CS (ie, if you use room-temp water, it just takes longer, but you will still get the same high quality CS). Also, my understanding the critical factor needed to make the highest quality is the absence of salt (ie, use distilled or RO water). -- Marcus
Guest guest
, Thank you for answering my message. I asked Dr. about FMS and she says I have all symptoms but didn't come right out and tell me I have it. When you have RA does your skin turn red and have a redish purple rash? Dr. Tammi couldn't explain the rash and neither could anyone else. It doesn't itch but it looks funny. I started taking Relafen last Friday and so far no side effects. It makes me feel better . I am trying to firgue out why I ache more at night after dinner then I do during the day time. Any answers? Last night I took my Relafen in AM when I went to bed. I slept all night without any pain. I usually don't go bed till 1:00a.m. and dr. told me take it in AM. When I woke up I was stiff but I am that way ever morning so that was nothing new. I did get some good news my social security disability award has been approved and I should be getting my first check and back payments in 60 days. So I firgue June. Don't know how much I will be getting but anything will help. (S) I will be getting award letter before I get my first check. I am praying it will be enought to get a car as we depend on Edie and other people to take us to Dr., church, store, and etc. I would like be independ again. Guest guest
Hi Kay - I'm going to answer in-line to some of your questions as I have a number of years of experience with the FMS and its treatment. I lived under the fibro diagnosis for 6 years before a rheumy realized it was in my joints and tendons and honest to God swelling, not the misinformed perception of swelling that they claim PWFM (people with fibromyalgia) have. It was also true that cortisone injections and anti-inflammatories helped me, another contraindication to FMS. > > I am trying to firgue out why I ache more at night after dinner then I do > during the day time. Any answers? I strongly suspect this one is diet related. There is probably a no-no you tend to do with dinner and not with breakfast or lunch. Fried foods? or high grease content? I've seen those trigger major flares in myself and others within hours of consumption. I don't think this one can tell you if it's FM or an arthritis as they will both respond badly to " bad " foods. > > > Last night I took my Relafen in AM when I went to bed. In time you may have a day (and hopefully many days) when you wake up and feel like dancing. As hard as that is to believe, I know that when I started on the AP I went through a period of feeling less and less stiff each morning, first the hands and feet, then the knees and elbows joined in, and then one day I woke up not hurting ANYWHERE. Not swollen ANYWHERE. As limber as I'm capable of and dancing through the house in total joy and excitement that IT WORKS!! Of course I've had my steps back since then but those days pop up now and again and one day they'll be the norm. Best - Jan K > > > I did get some good news my social security disability award has been > approved and I should be getting my first check and back payments in 60 > days. So I firgue June. Guest guest
Hi Kay, You mentioned your rash. I have dermatomyositis.......which is basically muscle weakness, joint pain similar to arthritis, and a reddish-purplish rash on my eye lids and on top of my hands, going acoss my knuckles. The rash tends to flare from time to time, sometimes hurts. Dermatomyositis is treated with the antibiotic protocol, (yeah!). I've been on the AP for a year now and am getting lots better. You can look it up in the health sections of some of the search engines like excite, or . If you can't find dermatomyositis, try searching in the health section under polymyositis. They are similar disorders and for some reason, there are more listings under that term, even though both are described in the content. take care, Connie Kay W Newman wrote: > From: Kay W Newman <kwnewman@...> > > , > > Thank you for answering my message. Guest guest
Our Pediatrician said to get the kids started drinking from a cup early too. Our problem is finding the time with triplets! You need to help them at first or just give it to them and let it go all over. I want to ask 's ST about using a regular cup vs. sippy or nipple cup. I had never heard that about the tongue. has a real small mouth and her tongue protrudes quite often. Mainly when she is tired she lets is hang out slightly and when hungry it is moving fast! Doc. said that as her mouth grows and widens, the tongue protrusion will start to disappear and not to worry about it. __ Message: 17 Date: Thu, 13 Jan 2000 19:31:40 -0500 From: GVanHouten <rjvh@...> Subject: another survey? Guest guest
Metal taste could also be an indication of mercury. I had my amalgam fillings replaced cause I have read that it causes mercury toxicity and there is a link to it and fibromyalgia which I have. Of course the white fillings are prettier too. Its not easy to get mercury out of your tissues though. I am working on it ever so slowly. Jeanie Re: Digest Number 173 From: JRoesle@... Guest guest
The chiropractor I work for does Contact Reflex Analysis and Autonomic Response Testing. These are types of muscle testing. I found out through that testing. My holistic D.O. also said there are blood tests that can be done and hair analysis can also help. If you want the name and address of someone near you who does this, give me your city and state and I'll check my lists. Guest guest
Hi nne, I know I am a bit late in answering your post, but I was away. I second the opinion of possibly adding T3 to your meds. I am reading a book about 's Syndrome which I got from ordering online (at ssyndrome.com). Dr. talks about people having normal TSH and T4 levels in the bloodsteam, but that the conversion of T4 to T3 on the cellular level doesn't always occur well. If you have a low body temp, he suggests going on T3. Also, so many of the symptoms you describe, I read about it this book (including the part about feeling worse even on the synthroid). I hope you get some relief soon! Best wishes, Shari
Guest guest
Dear All: When one cannot convert T4 to T3, the question that has to be asked is WHY? T4 converts to T3 very effectively if the proper nutrients are avialable. By supplying T3 [a synthetic drug}, the problem has not been addressed. Only the symptom has been adressed by supplying a synthetic to provide that which your body is easily capable of doing. In 's syndrome, Dr. discovered that his patients exhibited all the symptoms of thyroid dysfunction but their blood tests were normal. The problem here is that blood tests are totally inaccurate!!! If a person has simple hypothyroidism, then supplying the raw materials the thyroid gland requires will restore thyroid function. Thyrodine supplies the raw materials and has been restoring thyroid function for 25 years. see www.thyrodine.com If there is an auto-immune dysfunction or thyroiditis then there is a presence of a virus or yeast [Candida] that is causing the immune system to make antibodies to the thyroid. By eliminating the pathogenic organism with the ImmunoGuard protocol www.thyrodine.com then Thyrodine will restore thyroid function. When a person is put on synthroid or armour the sentence is...you're on this the rest of your life. That means being on a synthetic drug forever with all the nasty side effects of the drug. Many of the comments on this list are directed toward the horrible side effects of these drugs. By simply restoring thyroid function by eliminating the cause of auto-immune or thyroiditis with ImmunoGurad and restoring thyroid function with Thyrodine, and 1 or 2 bottles will restore thyroid function forever, if one uses kelp and has no drugs, fluoride or chlorine in their water, and a reasonable nutritional program. So much suffering could be avoided by this simple program. Earl Re: Digest Number 173 From: SHARingME2@... Hi nne, I know I am a bit late in answering your post, but I was away. Guest guest
Hi Eva I make my lipstick from alkanet-infused oil and then use the oil as a bse for my lip balm. Sometimes I add a little cosmetic grade mice for a little more color or sparkle. If you do this, do not expect a heavily colored lip stick. This is more of a tinted lip balm.. It adds a touch of red to your lips. tracey
