Headsprout/online phonic programme

Hello everybody,

I would like to inform you about an online phonic programme. I am

very pleased with my son's progress. I bought the first 40 episodes

then I extended up to 80.We are on the 68th Episode now.It is

basically build up audiotory discrimination of letters and words

sound,build up skills slowly,lots of repetition,may different

animations in the context of space,under the sea,dinasours..

I think it helps in many ways to build up various skills such as

understanding the instructions,following and doing it

(clicking ..dragging..) tuning auditory discrimination I beleive.I

think there is a demo on their web site.A few parents recommended on

the Me-List and I am glad that I took their advice.It is not so

costly either,both programmes I think cost me £80 or £90.

I wish there was an online programme but not only phonics just

covering general knowledge and revising the child's skills in order

to maintain previously taught early skills.In headsprout programme

you can also immediate access to receive child's progress,data and

have a chance to repeat the episode again.

all day and finding nothing...I mean headsprout?...who would thing of

punching that into Google?
