Hi Nasreen Are your children dairy free cos I did read once that, for the majority of affected kids, going dairy free completely cleared the glue ear. If you do need the grommets, they can make a huge difference to a childs language. A little boy we know had been diagnosed with language disorder and sent to a special language unit. He had grommets fitted and cos he could hear properly, his language suddenly developed dramatically. He is now absolutely fine in mainstream. Nasreen,

Have you taken him off dairy? -This might help. Also it could help to try cranial osteopathy.

Nasreen,

I've started using a chiro for my son based on reports from other

moms that he was able to completely resolve their chronic ear

infections. My daughter had the tubes put in her ears at age three

and they worked for about a year--then her problems all returned. I

wish I had tried alternatives, like a good chiro, first. Here where

I live, although I have to pay a bit out of pocket, the chiro has

been one of the most effective and cheapest interventions I've tried

with my son. I made sure to ask around to other moms for their

experiences and I interviewed the chiro before I let him see my son.

Best wishes,

Anita
