Hi,

Many of us go to our local chemical and pool supply place and buy it in bulk.

Good luck.

Snowdrift Farm has KOH to mail order. I think they also have new recipes for

Liquid Soap, a slighly different method than C. Failor's, no alcohol in theirs,

in the recipe section...www.snowdriftfarm.com :-)

The following site has much easier instructions:

http://www.thesage.com/recipes/recipes.php3?.State=Display & id=102

Here's two sites that use Failor's paste method but provide much more detail and

explanation:

http://www.essencesupply.com/liquid/liquidsoap.html

I started making liquid soap using Failor's paste method. My method now is

pretty simple. I mix the indicated lye and oils, stir to trace, and then let it

sit in the pot for a few days with a piece of cheesecloth covering it to keep

dust out. I stir it once per day. I add water to get it to the consistency I

want after 3-5 days. This works for me, and is pretty easy. HTH
