Guest guest
I don't smoke, but I also get oral thrush. I think when I take probiotics it helps. Also mixing a pure juice cranberry drink (no added sugar) also helps. There's a pure cranberry extract I buy from the health food store which I mix with water and a little bit of grape or apple juice to cut down on the acidity. I'm not home right now but I think the name of the company that makes the cranberry juice concentrate is Dynamic Health. After I drink a couple of glasses of cranberry juice, it seems to help. I don't know for a fact, but I suspect that it's better to have the cranberry juice drink first to help neutralize the yeast somewhat before using the probiotic to repopulate the good bacteria. I tend to get oral thrush when I'm not eating enough vegetables, eating too many carbohydrates, not drinking enough water, and not taking my probiotic and vitamins regularly. Guest guest
Of course hot drinks without sugar. I generally do herbal teas without any sweetener, but if you must have a sweetener I suspect stevia might be your best bet. candidiasis@...: budman48089@...: Sat, 11 Aug 2007 12:52:58 -0700Subject: RE: oral thrush Yaffee <mmyaffee@...> wrote: I don't smoke, but I also get oral thrush.I think when I take probiotics it helps. Also mixing a pure juice cranberry drink (no added sugar) also helps. Guest guest
---kerry, I have had the same thing. No matter how good i am on the diet or no matter what i eat and dont eat mine tends to be white. THey say your tongure realted to our bowels, but my bowels have never been an issue. But i will say that when i eat to m any detox foods my tongue gets worse. Also probiotics help it to get less white at times. I was drinking organic white tea directly from leaves and it was worse. I also have seen so many othper people with white tongues. I wonder how much this truly has to do with candida. =^.^= Sue K ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. http://searchmarketing./

Guest guest
Gail, It has stevia in it and 2 g sugar. I have been using it for a while now and didnt have any trou ble in the beginning. Then i added cinnamon and my stomach began to have a burning to it. I wanted to try the undenatured whey and found one to begin using, but until my stomach settles down i am hesitant. Would the new whey help with digestive upsets? Although on the brighter side, my tongue today is less white. I think it all has something to do with this new white tea i began drinking 2 weeks ago. Between the whey with cinnamon and the white tea, i am not too sure which has brought up these new things. =^.^= Sue K ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better Heartthrob. Interesting, Treva. My bottom lip has been severely chapped for at least 8 months. Although I've been sick for 14 years, this chapping is new. I've wondered if it was candida related. For one week, I put coconut oil on it regularly -- didn't make a difference. Now, I'm hoping that with time on Bee's program this will resolve itself. How are your lips now? The odd thing about my chapped lips is that they have coincided with a time frame when life has been much less stressful (although this was preceded by a particularly stressful time) and I've felt better in general (even though I'm still fairly ill with CFS). But, I also know that I have adrenal issues, so this is a good reminder to read Bee's file on this.
Guest guest
Hi , Ok, so from what you said it may not be your adrenals, but keep in mind that stress has different forms. Die off can stress out your adrenals as much as an annoying boss can. So if you are experiencing die off, maybe your adrenals have been on overdrive to deal with that issue, and thus the chapped lips? But as I don't know the mechanism as to why *my* lips chap after my adrenals go into overdrive, I really don't even know if there is a connection, its more of an observation of how my body reacts. The way I noticed it was that, when I was drinking swiss water decaf coffee (though I have given it up since then as even that is hard on my adrenals) I accidentally drank some of my Mom's regular organic coffee. Just a few sips and my heart was pounding horribly. It didn't take long for us to figure out what I had done. That was when I first noticed how my lips chapped with in two hours of a heightened adrenal response. It took a week for them to heal. Another time, someone went through a red light, and almost ran me over. The shock of it sent my heart racing, and sure enough chapped lips with in two hours again. And it took about a week that time too, to go away. The interesting thing now is that I use my lips kind of like " a canary in a coal mine. " Now, whenever they get chapped, I reassess my stress levels, and my efforts to improve my adrenals, and each time, I can pin point something that spiked my stress levels, be it a bad die off reaction, or an aggravating work situation. It has actually become a great tool for me, to keep a closer eye on my adrenals. Guest guest
Hi Treva, I am glad that they are doing better, but I was wondering what is ALC? Also, have you read Bee's file on silver treatments under the folder called " C) Not Recommended Treatments & Supplements " you may want to check that out, as she cautions candida sufferers to avoid silver treatments. Also go to post #46174 to see a real life example of what silver treatments can do after extended use. Jecca --- Shay Spence <spence45011@...> wrote: > > They are healing fine!! Guest guest
Thank goodness someone in this group still has a memory. I kept trying to think of the name of " thrush " . Here's a picture of what it looks like if you go to this website: http://www.ask.com/web?q=What+Does+Oral+Thrush+Look+like%3F & qsrc=2419 & o=0 & l=dir Here's how to get rid of it (several different treatments): http://candida-yeast-infection-relief.com/?gclid=CK3bjvbP9JICFQijPAodYHVSyw Thanks for your input, Vicki. I remember when my last child had it, he was only 2 weeks old, he got it in the hospital after being dehydrated. When I complained how ill prepared the aide was, they didn't say anything to her, they more or less tried to brush me off. When I told the doctor, he said, " You mean this happened here? " Don't they even look into these errors any more? They used Gentian Violet and you can still get it here: http://www.smallflower.com/product/22565?gclid=CMWTg9DQ9JICFQE_gQodcXpnwQ Blessings to you, you are all a blessing to me, Lottie

What is your name please? +++Unfortunately there are no quick fixes for bad breath since it comes from within your body. I advise you to gradually change over from the SCD diet to this program, since SCD allows foods that still feed candida, and most people have not been successful on it. This program is also very good for diabetes since it changes the body over from running on carbs/glucose to running on " good " fats (along with other nutrients of course). See Diabetes and the Candida Connection: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/diab2.php The only way to cure candida, diabetes, and other diseases and malfunctions is to build up your immune system. If you give your body what it needs, which is mainly " proper nutrients, " and also cut off candida's food supply, and eliminate toxins, your body will heal itself naturally. For encouragement see these Success Stories: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php Please read How to Successfully Cvercome Candida and Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php The best in health, Bee

I apologize if anyone has suggested Oil Pulling to you yet. Search posts as I don't believe Bee has it on her website yet. I do it every morning and it is wonderful for cleaning out sinuses, mouth, throat, and I even have my ears pop once in a while. Amy
