love watching her workout!

Marge

would you be so kind as to explain the difference

between an essential oil, an absolute and a

concrete?

for those like me, who don't seem to grasp the

concept. :-)

Thanks you are the EO Goddess!

I know it is not an FO and don't know that much about the others to say.

Thanks for letting me know. I got a very small bottle of it but it goes a

really long way. It smells very real to me. Which would you think is

better than a rose absolute or a rose otto?

Hi .....

A question.....

The fact that an absolute or extract has hexane as its extraction

solvent making it unacceptable in your product.....

That's a philosophical *action* you folks take re: organic solvents,

rather than being a purely Vegan principle....right?

I can see where this might be consistent with Vegan philosophy, but not

Vegan per se....?

I may not know what I'm talking about here...<G>...

I starred the " action " word, because it seems to me that all too often

philosophical statement is, in a lotta cases, a bunch of noise, but when

people really walk the talk, it's of a higher order.....

I was a strict and somewhat militant vegan for almost 20 years (now

reformed :-). I see no connection at all between veganism and moral

opposition to hexane. If people don't know it (most don't), the Vegan

Society was founded in England in 1920; this to me is quite telling,

as most think of veganism as a purely American phenomenon. The

English have always been ahead of us on animal rights. The truth is

that the vast majority of the world is peasants. Peasant diets are

vegan, with only very occasional meat or dairy. Info session over.

Hello there

Interesting word ....'peasant' I love the word actually.... it can be used in a

positive and negative way.... " oh he's a peasant " meaning he is ignorant and

lacking in social and moral graces.

living like a peasant... over here ie england/wales uk.... signifies to many,

living quietly and simply off the land..... growing their own vegetables... farm

animals and produce in a smaller environ ie smallholding .... with humble

surroundings

peasant food.... simple, honest no extra trimmings
