Guest guest
I hate that question, well not really but it is semi difficult to answer sometimes. Once I simply answered " oils " to be cute lol I'm thinking, " which one do you want to know about as each one is differant. " and that is what I ask. Sometimes they want to know if it is goats milk soap or if it is shea butter soap. It is a hard question to answer most of the time as each bar of soap is differant, some have goats milk powder, some have coconut milk, some have water others have pureed fruits, veggies or juice or even a combination of any of them. Some have shea butter and some don't and of course none is 100% shea. and of course we already talked about the whole " glycerin soap " thingie. lol out of curiosity, what have others said to answer the question quite simply. Guest guest
I usually tell them, " my soaps are made from a vegetable oil base and may include herbs, clays, spices or other botanicals depending on the bar. " That seems to satisfy most people. If they ask about a particular bar I tell them the ingredients which I also have listed. Most of my customers seem to be concerned about allergies, colorants, petroleum based or soaps made using animal byproducts. Hope this helps. > > I hate that question, well not really but it is semi difficult to answer sometimes. Guest guest
I usually tell people that my soaps have a variety of vegetable oils but my main base is Olive oil. I also just state that I only use natural herbs and spices for colorant and essential oils. I just emphasize that the soaps are natural, handmade and are great for the skin. I think the funny part for me is people automatically put it to their nose to smell it. Even when I say that the particular soap does not have an essential oil in it. I guess people are programmed to smell everything. > > I hate that question, well not really but it is semi difficult to answer sometimes. Guest guest
lol lol lol to true. I have that happen myself. They sniff my unscented soaps and I say " oh that one is unscented. " alot of times they insist that it is, then I say it is either the natural scent of it picked up a tiny bit of scent from the other products around it. > > > > I hate that question, well not really but it is semi difficult to answer sometimes.
