Guest guest
Hi Jane There is no TMG in BC Ultrasensitive if you are concerned. takes loads of TMG and folinic with his MB12 (4 caps of kirkman TMG with folinic) and is doing really well on it, but I am considering doing a trial without TMG. Has anyone done this and had more success? Tinamelander12000 <jane_hogan@...> wrote: Hi,What vits and mins are people using other than Brainchild. I am considering an alternative after reading that Neubrander does notrecommend the TMG whilst giving MB12. Thanks,Jane

Guest guest
Hi Tina, I have read of a few on CK2 who have seen more improvements. I will have a look at the ultrasensitive to see what other differences there are. Thanks, Jane Re: Alternative vits and mins Hi Jane There is no TMG in BC Ultrasensitive if you are concerned. takes loads of TMG and folinic with his MB12 (4 caps of kirkman TMG with folinic) and is doing really well on it, but I am considering doing a trial without TMG. Guest guest
Hi Jane, My understanding of what Neubrander is saying that it's best not to go overboard on TMG as too much will slow down his famous " Pin Wheel " in the methylation cycle, by taking things the back route. I don't think he says we have to cut TMG out completely, does he? The trouble arose, I think, because many people were doing the very high doses of TMG that Jill used in her original study, to great effect. There's only a small amount in of TMG in the Brainchild supplements - that's the point of them - so I never a saw it as a problem keeping on taking them. My son was a big TMG responder, and an even bigger methyl-b12 reponder. I cut right back on the TMG as per Neubrander after hearing him talk at Autism One, but found my boy did better when I increased the TMG back up a little bit again to about 400mg. Trial, error and individuality I guess. Hope this helps a bit. Guest guest
Tina,Mandi, Jack too has very low lithium and Dr McC has had him on a supplement for a while - Biotics Research Lyzyme (I think!) - also VRP lithium orotate before that. Forget the reason for needing to supplement - will check back in my notes! Guest guest
Hi Have you notcied any differences with the lithium supplement. I think low lithium is associated with gastro disorders as well as bi-polar/manic depression. Guest guest
No Tina, I haven't - but then any improvements could be masked by other problems in Jack's case!!!
