Guest guest
Hey Tammy Forget breaking into the Aussie market. Firstly, with the current exchange rate, almost anything from the U.S is too expensive for us. Secondly, aussies arent really into cookies that much. Not that I would want to try some of yours one day!!!!! sorry Hugs Kristy
Guest guest
That's okay Kristy. By the time the cookies arrived they'd be hard as rocks. But they'd be pretty! Actually I don't like to ship farther than Riverside County (about 1 hour 1/2 away) so the cookies arrive fresh and in good condition. But I am wondering one thing... how can Aussie's not like cookies? Hello? Have they ever tried one? Who doesn't like cookies? Jeez.... Guest guest
Maybe I should come over there and make some cookies. Bet I could turn the whole country on it's ear! Watch out Mrs. Fields.... My cookies blow hers out of the water! (I know this because my customers tell me so all the time.) Do they have cookie shoppes in Australia? I could change all that! Watch me. > Hey Tammy > > Forget breaking into the Aussie market. Firstly, with the current exchange rate, almost anything from the U.S is too expensive for us. Guest guest
tammy there is one major cookie chain in australia but it struggles. It is too hot here for junk food..people tend to crave fresh fruit and frozen yoghurt etc. We are huge sushi eaters and also love juices like jumba juice though... sorry

My sis came home with a tale about a local RNY woman who lost all her weight(160lbs) and was less than a year out and had ALL her PS.....Kind of made me feel funny. I guess in the long run I will be better off. Guest guest
I'm whispering.... I agree - what is wrong with the aussie men? It actually might have something to do with not liking cookies. These two things could be linked.??? I still think they just haven't tasted a good cookie yet. Harrumph! Still whispering. > > Tammy > > (who is muttering under her breath.... aussie's don't like > > cookies.... ????) > ===================== > Shhhhh Tammy...this is between you and me...ok...don't tell a > soul...but I think these Aussie's are sorta weird...to not like > cookies is bad enough....but those dumb butt men aren't snatching a > beauty like Kristy up either...see real weird. > > Jo > remember...shhhhhh
Guest guest
It's 108 degrees here ... so not buying that excuse. Our jumba juice and sushi and yogurt places do well here too. BUT..... there are at least 3 major cookie companies in my immediate area (within 1 mile of each other) and all do okay. Nope - I just think the Aussie's need a good cookie!!! Tammy (Who has no idea why she's defending cookies so relentlessly ... maybe because it's her livelihood?) P.S. You do know I'm yankin' your chain - right Kristy? It's really okay that your people don't eat a lot of cookies. But just in case - have your people call my people and we'll do lunch and discuss. > tammy > > there is one major cookie chain in australia but it struggles. Guest guest
Thanks Mellie - but I think it would probably add a week or two to the shipping. Maybe I'll get Kristy's address and send her samples and she can pass them out. Then we'll see who doesn't like cookies! Ha. But glad you enjoyed yours. And, by the by - congrats on your fabulous weight loss! You're almost caught up with me and your surgery was a month or so later and you're a revision!!!!
