THANK YOU!!!!!!!

You guys motivate me SO MUCH!

I just have to feel like not working out and i come

here and i'm up an rearing to go.

You guys do a lot of tougher workouts but i thought

i'd go ahead and writeup the walk away the pounds 1

and 2 mile walks.I also do the bootcamp ones but

haven't managed to make it to the end of any of those

yet.

I have thunderous thighs and a heck of a tummy and

some of the bootcamp moves are a little impossible for

me just yet but i'll get to em when i'm smaller.

So anyways here goes with the WATP (not sure EXACTLY

what u guys look for in the workouts and i'm not down

with the technical stuff that i've been reading here

and there on these messages but i'll give it a go :)

WATP 1 mile

Short. maybe 15 mins or 20

is perky...a little too perky she annoyed me at

first but after billy's barking (hey sometimes i need

the barking at tho) i welcome the sweet almost

motherly manner and tone she has.

The workout is low impact and pretty easy to do,

though i get a little winded toward the end.

It encompasses 4 basic movements - walking in place,

knee lifts, front kicks and sidesteps. You can add the

weights to intensify the workout and burn more

calories too.

You dont need to be coordinated to to this cuz i'm

miss klutz 2005 and i haven't ended up out the window

yet!

(you think i'm kiddin? when i did aerobics in a class

there were floor length windows and the instructor

made it a point to keep me in the middle of the

class!)

This workout took me about 3 tries to finish the whole

thing because i was in THAT BAD of shape.

WATP2 mile

I did this entire one today!:D YAY ME

Its maybe fifteen mins longer than the 1 mile and

wasn't that much harder. It also consists of the basic

four moves mentioned above.I think i'll stick with

this one for another week or two before attempting the

three mile.

was very encouraging and talks so much u forget

you're working out till she counts out the last 8

counts.

I usually measure a workout by how sore i feel after

and i dont think i'm gonna feel sore at all so i don't

know how effective it is.

I was accustomed to doing hard workouts where i'd be

sore for days after and i knew it was working because

i felt it but i'm not in that kinda shape anymore

....i'm in shape tho...round is a shape! lol

I'm gonna keep on going - one day and one day soon

i'll be able to tackle harder workouts i'm determined

to conquer my bootcamp videos in under 6 months and

will critique those then.

Ta ta for now

You guys are amazing:)

Kris.

It does not matter how slowly you go,

as long as you do not stop.

hi kris!

first of all, i really enjoy your sense of humour and your

determination. that will see you well as you continue your journey to

fitness, so keep smiling! :)

also, thankyou for your reviews of leslie's one and two mile

workouts. you did a good job in telling us just what we want to know

-- specifically, what you liked and disliked about the

workout. perfect! we like to hear about all kinds of workouts... they

dont have to be 'hard' or anything like that. we all do quite a wide

variety of videos.

i like leslie's WATP 3 mile workout quite a bit... but i played it so many

times that i had everyone's lines memorized and just couldnt hack it one

for time...LOL. congrats on accomplishing the 2 miles today!

i think that you are right in that leslie talks so much in order to keep

everyone's mind off of what their body is doing! thats a good point -- i

hadnt realized that before.

:*carolyn.

my husband is is concrete construction contractor and customers sometimes

use this email address, so that is why the company name is there.

stratford ontario, where his business is based out of, is called 'the

festival city' because of the shakespearean festival (stage theatre) that

is located there. there are tons of businesses that are 'festival city'

this or that in that town...lol.
