A barman was working one day when in walks this duck who gets up on one of the bar stools and asks for the pint of Guinness. The barman astounded by what he had just encountered silently poured the pint and gave it to the duck. After a while they got talking and the barman asked "What has you wondering around these parts?". The duck replied, " You know the construction site round the corner, I've just started working there." The next night the duck came back to the bar at the same time, ordered another pint of Guinness and both the barman the duck got talking again. This occurred for over a week and soon they became friends. One night the duck arrived once again, got up on his stool and started chatting to the barman as usual over his pint of Guinness. The barman was very excited to see the duck as he had some good news for him. He told the duck of the posters he had seen of the circus being in town. The barman said to the duck " I rang up the circus and told them all about you, how you could talk and drink Guinness. They are really excited and want to meet you!" The duck replied with a bewildered look on his face, " The circus wants to talk to me? Isn't the circus a big tent, held up in the middle by a huge wooden pole?" "Yep" The barman replied, "Isn't it exciting!" The duck replied, "What the hell does the circus need with a plasterer?"
