Weird DMSA challenge test??

Those of you who have done the now frowned upon DMSA challenge test,

could I ask what your experiences are? I remember back in the Spring

when we did our first one, it stank - a really nasty, sulphury, gothic

stench. When we did our repeat this w/e it was totally odour-free!!!

Weird!!!! Which of the two is normal?
