Guest guest
Hi Lee, Sorry to hear about the cold..... please take care of yourself, it is the cold season now... By the way, sounds like Lysol seems to be losing its effect on this group. How about Dettol? Or maybe we should just soak the CPU into the bathtub of warm water together with us... Ling Re: Hi everyone & welcome to the new guys I also caught Anne's cold. I poured the Lysol onto my CPU but I guess it doesn't always work. I am drinking tea and water and taking Vits A, C and Zinc. Guest guest
I could take it to pieces and clean and/or fix it myself if I had time or inclination. I fixed a half-severed ribbon cable in a laptop before to get parts of the keyboard that were not working to work. This thing is probably not as hard to fix (required stripped wire, a razor and strong sticky tape to fix the ribbon cable) but I am finding it hard to sit down and make myself do it. Plus my birds are a full time duty at the moment what with all being on meds 3 times a day (precaution after bringing home two rescues). And then there is two that are in a breeding cabinet and my little " pet " ones are harrassing them a bit in there whenever I turn the other way. Guest guest
They are having a very very bratty day today. 5 times in 10 minutes I had to go down the corridor and catch them after they left their playgym which is right beside my desk so I can keep an eye on them and went to harrass the breeding pair. They don't mean any serious harm and are loving pets just they seem to think they are missing out on something by not being allowed to frequent that room where the English budgies are. And now that I have gotten well and truly grumpy with them, CC comes up on my shoulder to preen my hair and then Kody flies up from the playgym to join her in trying to destroy my leather necklace. They are very like children that every time you think you might be able to even hate them they do something so cute that you forgive them for all their wrongs. You are right they lay one egg every other day but I have no idea how long it will take these two to start mating and I forget how long after mating to expect an egg. Guest guest
Haha I have no idea where they learned it. I am guessing from the breeder's place because it is the adult english budgies that do it not my little pet ones (and I hope it stays that way). Odd thing was that the breeder has no dog.
