((( Happy Hugs ))) Helen Hello Everyone, Just want to check in again after being inactive for so long... Finally saw my new pain doc on Tue. My old doc had apparently decided to "close his clinic" due to his poor health, so had passed the patients on to this new doc. Well, anyway I am glad over the change of doctors, as I felt the old one was not very keen in helping me anyway. I actually saw this new doc before. He was learning from my very first doc [who is now back in the US], so he saw me when I was going for my nerve blocks. Hence, he kind of know me well. He was especially caring, and told me that he would like to see me regularly to make sure that I am coping well with the pain. He also asked me to continue practicing the relaxation techniques I was taught. Also, hearing that the headaches had come back. he decided to do a bilateral facet and occipital nerve block for me on 14 Dec. If there is no relief after the blocks, he will then have to repeat another MRI to make sure that nothing else is going on in the brain/neck. Oh finally, after 1 year of using doc appointments and physiotherapy, I have found a doc that BOTHERS to treat me! Ling Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
