Libby,

Nutrition is important and basically the majority of the program.

When people refer to eating clean, it means following the program

as it is stated in the book, meaning the authorized foods only. No cheats,

or nibbles of this and that. :)

Hope this helps.

It's true. Every fitness pro will tell you that great bodies are

made in the kitchen. I know from experience that even if I workout

like mad but eat crap, I swee no improvements in my physique. Eating

clean means eating unprocessed carbs, lean proteins and good fats,

skipping the saturated fats, processed (white flour) carbs and simple

sugars. Clean eats include chicken, fish, oatmeal, egg whites (with

the occassional yolk), fruit, veggies, beans, barley, lentils,

protein powder, etc.

I printed 's shopping list off her website yesterday and took it to the

grocery with me, so my cupboards and fridge are well-stocked for the week. It

helps immensly that my better half is doing this challenge with me. I'm

guessing that my biggest hurdle will be food boredom, so I've been on the prowl

for lots of yummy BFL-safe recipes.

Thanks,

Libby

One Ms 's website amongst the things to read, " Menu Rescue - A

Kitchen Idiots Guide to Eating':

http://skwigg.tripod.com/wow/id33.html

Also on the BFL website there is a socalled 'authorized list' that

may help you make good choices in the grocery store aisles:
