Hello all,

Do " clays " when added to fruit enzymes or other raw materials such as honey

powder, aloe vera powder, etc., distort, so to speak, any of the actives?

We're formulating dry facial masks in our Mud Group and a member mentioned that

clays absorb vitamins, etc., and I don't believe this to be true... but I

couldn't tell her why, or if it fact it is true. I mean, it's clay, it's dry,

how can it absorb anything? Am I right,

wrong?

And is there such a product as powdered Hydroxyacetic acid? How can this product

be sold as a dry facial mask, if the consumer uses water as a wetting agent? And

how much would you need to say have your mask be 8% HA, with a 3.0 to 3.4 ph. Is

this feasible?

Thanks.
