I'm on Healing Crow, not any of the main SCD lists, which are devoted to

helping people follow the diet, deal with flares, etc.. Healing Crow has a

broader focus.

As to Primal Defense, it has a number of SCD-illegal ingredients, so it's

not actually SCD legal. (Elaine was very conservative in defining the diet

-- she didn't allow anything which didn't have solid science behind it, so

lots of things which might be helpful, at least for some people, are not

included. Some of the organisms in PD are not SCD-legal for that very

reason. However, it also includes SCD-illegal plant components.)

Some people have reported benefits from PD, some people have reported

serious harm. They did reformulate it fairly recently to eliminate some of

the more seriously SCD-illegal ingredients, but it's still not part of the

diet. You could certainly try it, though (I may try it myself) but you

should be aware that some people have had some serious problems with it.
