Fermented honey and mead

I was reading through some back issues of Wise Traditons and came

across Sally's article on feremnted honey. Has anyone tried it? I'm

curious as to the taste. I saw it can be ordered from ReallyRaw but

only by the case for $65.00.

Also anyone have any information on making it? From just the little I

read it seems as though it can taste nasty if you don't get the

fermentation correct but I couldn't find anything on how to ferement

it correctly.

And while I'm on honey......anyone out there made mead? How was it

and what did you do? It seems the recipes i came across on the net

all call for adding a sulfur compound or boiling it before fermenting.
