Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have been lurking for awhile now, reading archives, and gathering info. about making toiletries. I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and experience.I have ventured into bath salts and bath bombs, as well as some simple bath oil mixtures. I am interested in making some different products to give for Christmas presents this year. One thing I would like to make is facial toner. I do not want to use alchohol, as it is very drying on the skin. I have read that hydrogen perioxide is an excellent toner, so I was thinking of creating a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, distilled water, eo's, glycerine. Any thoughts? Should I add jojoba oil to this? Is pure witch hazel drying on the skin? I read Butch's post on hydrosols, but I don't want to have to refrigerate the mixture. I plan to package it in a mister. Thanks for your imput. I.
