This article brought tears to my eyes. I also had developed a bit of

a social phobia due to teasing about my looks. Thanks for sharing

this. Very uplifting.

OMG...I read what she said about her life and I just cannot

relate....this made me so sad. I have always heard of kids being so

mean and such (thankfully I was never one of those) but never have

had to deal with that personally. I grew up part of my life being

raised by my G. Grandparents (he was a minister). We were encourgaed

to have friends of every " type " not to see the difference but to

look for the similarities. When my kids were in school we had every

type of kid from school....every nationality and every income level,

we had big ones and small ones...I just cannot relate to people going

through such cruelness (yes, I've seen the tv shows about it but to

actually read that woman's sorrow...wow.)I am so glad she and others

like her have something like BFL to use and to get where they want in

life. This article atually made me cry. Thanks for sharing a

perception that we all need to know.
