1st Soup Try -- Foamy Soup Mess

I tried to make a tortilla soup recipe. While blending, I had to hold a towel

on the cover because foam was coming out of the top. I followed Lea Ann's

instructions for getting rid of foam, and after 2 tries was able to enjoy my

soup.

My question is, what can I do to prevent the foam from coming out of the top of

the Vitamix while it is cooking?
