Guest guest
And I happen to have a rosemary plant outside my front door! But, I need to go get cauliflower. This sounds so good. I throw a couple of cups of the steamed cauli in the Vitmix, a handful of shredded homemade cheddar cheese, and a pinch of salt-I add JUST enough of the steaming liquid (or broth) to start the mix twirling well-I usually start out on #4 and ramp it up until it starts to get blended, then I flip it to high and leave it get all hot and steamy. With less liquid, the soup is nice and thick without anything added to it. Of course you can add herbs (rosemary is lovely in it), red pepper, or other seasonings, but I like it nice and simple. I have a bowl of cauli soup EVERY single day-have for years. My daughter and I have it like most people have a cup of coffee, lol. > > > > > >>>> I just cut a head of cauliflower up. Guest guest
I would like to know how to incorporate cauliflower in ice cream. Also a recipe for cauliflower soup.
Guest guest
I know will answer when she can, but I learned from her. I break up the Cauliflower and steam it until just tender, then pour Cauliflower and steaming water in VM, and add a bit of broth (chicken or veg) and whirl away. Once smooth I add some shredded cheddar cheese and blend until the cheese melts. Yummy. Ice cream, not so much.
