Guest guest
Jen, Your girls sound so precious and Yes, I was honest with both my kids..... I have to tell my kids the truth in hopes they will never get breast implants... Which I know for a fact that this will never happen after seeing what they did to there Mom. Thank God.... Better me then them is how I see it. As far as Hubby goes. My man didn't ever believe me from day one, he seemed to side with what the doctor I visited that day thought. I would go to another doctor come home and say Nope he said it wasn't the breast implants, just my nerves or whatever they blamed the reason for my sickness on that day..... In fact, nobody in my family believed me I was alone even when they were next to me. No Luck there...... I do know that I had to take the bull by the horns or I was going to die and felt worse day by day.... I also can say that he did not believe me until, Dr. Kolb woke me up from surgery and she told me "Yes your implants were leaking and stuff was floating in them, probably mold or something" He was in shock at that point and man was I babied from that day forward. LOL He told me how sorry he was and so did most of my family, however it took me time to forgive them, I finally came to peace with it and forgave all since that anger, frustration and stress was not going to be good for my healing. It does take a very big toll on our spouses, children and family, hard for them to understand until a doctor says "Yes these implants is why you been so sick for so long" Then they seem to realize "Wow She is not crazy and then they seem to get some new found hope" Then they seem to understand and they are there for us and then they are also saying "Thank God you got them out when you did" It is hard on us that is for sure, but so confusing to our families, who were once used to us being so healthy and then seeing us so sick. They are scared, confused and wondering when we are ever going to get better. They just seem to be quiet until then, since they really don't know what is going on and by the way our trusted FDA approves these things, so planted in there head they can't make you sick, how could they? Some if not most of us took it upon ourselves to save our own lives, whether they wanted us to get rid of our toxic breast or not. They had to go or die is the choice most of us faced.... I can only pray you get yours removed by a good explant doctor who believes they can make you sick and I pray your husband is sitting next to you when you wake up with the horrific news, reality will sink in quick, let me tell you. I would tell your daughter's the truth, they are our future and they may find comfort to know there Mother may finally not have anymore of these rashes to deal with. They may grow up and warn others, explain to them how sometimes if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is not. We for sure learned the hard way, but Thank God we spared our own children the grief. God Bless ~
Guest guest
WOW I will keep your Sister in my prayers!!!!!! So sad how we think we can get some self esteem out of fake toxic breast implants. She will not say that if she get's leaking silicone in her body, as you know the truth. We should have spent our money on a counselor to learn how to love ourselves for whom we are not what we look like and how we look in a shirt....Never again, Thank God!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Jen, Dr. Kolb does a wonderful job...... Yes, I had a lift done, the donut lift around my areola... She does accept insurance if you have any, she will fight like hell for them to pay for your explant surgery. I don't know if the lift would be included though..... I do know that all the prices varies, and I hear Dr. Kolb is more expensive than most.... Don't know didn't ask about money.... Not that I had a plug cent, when I found this out..... I got a loan for my surgery. The time when I found these ladies, I contacted 3 PS who do explant, some of our best we recommend, I won't mention names here. I went with Dr. Kolb for a few reason, one she believed I may be sick from my "safe" saltwater implants... Two she is the only doctor in the US who offers a protocol and follow up care for treatment once there removed.... And Three She sends them off for testing to Dr. Blais for you... Four lots referred her to me as one of the best with saline implants..... I just picked her for that then ask about how much it would cost, got approval for a loan, so out the door I went. If you have insurance you can e-mail her and ask her if she will accept it..... I think for my total cost to her was around $10,000.00 for removal en-bloc, capsules removed, drains and the protocol........ Worth every dollar and I honestly would of paid her more, since after surgery I have never not one time ask myself "Did she leave something in me?" No worries and piece of mind, I finally found the truth out and to me it is priceless........ I feel lucky and blessed that I had a way to go to her I know some can't even afford explants. I was not talking money, I was talking my life and didn't want to chance someone messing me up and not getting better. Then spending another $30,000.00 or so on doctor's after surgery and guessing some more. I just figured Get R Done................ ~
Guest guest
I am healing fine from surgery and you really notice a big difference after about 2 months. Don't take long to heal..... Yes the lift was included. Drove there in about 6 hours or so..... Happy with the job yes and the scars are barely noticeable but I wished I didn't have any scars on my breast, once again feel for the sales pitch, underarm placement so you won't have a scar story. Usually when you schedule explant with Dr. Kolb and you are traveling, She likes for you to stay a week. You go on Monday for first consult, Tuesday is Pre-Op, Wenesday is Surgery for removal. Then if you want you can do detox stuff like a foot bath or iv treatments she offers. You can also go see other doctors who work there too like a neuroligist and all sorts of ways to get healing....... ( These are optional) Then you go back to her on Monday get your stitches removed and follow up and go home and that is it....... If questions after that you can do by e-mailing and/or she will work with your family doctor back home.......The hotels are like 3 minutes away from her, so you feel really save. If you tell them her name they give you a discount which saves about $50.00 per night on the hotel bill...... I am very happy with my explant results, Wonderful Job!!!!!!! I was so sick and shortly after waking up from surgery and moving around again. I felt better I lost symptoms upon removal.... Low-grade fever, anxiety, heart palpatations, I could breath again, Chronic fatigue, white came back into my eyes and body stopped grinding.... Gone with explant...... I still have issues but don't feel like I am going to die...... Don't feel the need to rush to the ER and get a IV or something (not that they ever did this for me some relief) I lost my rash on my chest in about 2 or so months it slowly faded....... It is better and there is no doubt my "safe" salines made me sick as hell........Going on a year since explant, still need time, daily struggles but still feel better then when I had them toxic bombs. ~

Guest guest
Lynda, I don't know why really didn't pay attention, at the time I was so sick and wanted them removed once and only once, so didn't shop around. Lucky, I know since I got approved for a loan. How much is it in Denver to get explant and lift? ~
Guest guest
If I remember correctly, Dr. Kolb charged $6000.00 for explant and $4000.00 for the donut lift. She quoted me I higher price over e-mail, but upon seeing me it went down about $3000.00. So that was a relief......... I guess I just paid more for hopes to get better, God knows I was dying........ ~
