Kathi's last email about shopping at Hot Topic got me thinking about

where I'd go once I reach my goals and wondering what other stores

are on people's minds. For me, it's always been Secret. I

don't think I'll actually buy anything there, but just the idea of

being able to go in, try something on, have it fit AND I look good

in it...wow, powerfully motivating LOL. The other place is a

mailorder catelog--Title 9 sports. They have such cool running

shorts/swim clothes...ahh. I can't wait to wear shorts!

Another thing about Kathi seeing her abs line and the rude sales

lady made be think of this quote:

" When God gives you a gift, s/he wraps it up in a problem. "

I always liked that quote and it makes me think that maybe the rude

sales lady just made that abs line all that much sweeter...

Anyway, which store is your " goal " store?

My " Goal Store " is 's Secret. I see sooooo many pretty things in

there that I would LOVE to be able to wear again! And I'm positive that my

Sweetie would love it too!!! :)

I would also like to just be able to go buy a pair of size 10 jeans again

and wear a short crop top with them! I like that style.

Mine is Ann loft. I LOVE this store! I'm going there this

weekend when I'm in Chicago (we are just now building one in Kansas

City- when it comes I will be in trouble!)

My vote goes for 5-7-9. Not that their stuff is so spectacular, though

there are some cute dresses. But just the concept of the place bugs me.

What, if you're bigger than a size 9 you can't wear cute sundresses?

They might as well call it " No Fat Chicks " . I'd like to go in, try on

one of everything and walk out without buying a darn thing.

Hmmm that's a tough one,

Instead of 's secret we have La Senza or Silk & Satin,

pretty much the same type of store. I would love to buy a bra

that fits and has a pattern on it. :) With matching panties! LOL

No more granny bras! hee hee

I'd like to go into those fashion stores and not burst into tears

in the change room. That's my goal. To just get clothes that

fit and look good.

Oh and a pair of Maynolo Blahniks? :P~ or some fancy type of

shoe.

Hot Topic used to be one of my favorite stores, but now my very

favorite " fun shopping store " is Forever 21.

As for my 'goal store'...I love the GAP and OLD NAVY...but with this pooch I

have, I cannot wear the lo-rise stuff AT ALL...I need some HI RISE...

My main goal, the first one anyway, is to get back into my ENGAGEMENT ring...I

had to take it off in my 7th month of pregnancy, and my son is 18 months old

now. My wedding bands fit b/c I had to buy a size larger than the engagement

ring or wait for them to be ordered, and, well, I'm just not very patient,

lol...I'd like to be back into it before my 29th b'day in October this year, or

better yet, in September for our Disney trip.

DH and I have decided that if we do the 1st challenge and stick to it, then we

will do a 2nd challenge to end around Christmas and if we stick to THAT one, we

both get new wardrobes! I'll probably get mine off eBay because I am a sucker

for a bargain, but I can't wait to just have a SHOPPING SPREE...I still wear

some of my maternity clothes b/c my 'old clothes' won't fit...I've bought a few

things for basics, like solid tees and shorts and a couple pairs of jeans, but I

would LOVE some little dresses and sleeveless tops like I used to wear all the

time...*sigh*....GOOD MOTIVATION right?

I have vowed not to shop until I loose my " granny belly " also.

s Secret, Old Navy, The Buckle...........I have 2 sisters-in-

law that are young (21 & 19)both are in the Service (one Air Force,

one Army).....anywwho....I went to watch the Army chick graduate from

bootcamp around the end of March, and we went to some AWESOME stores

in SC and they MADE me try on all these cute crop tops and low rise

jeans like they wear, so now I am determined to be able to wear

clothes like that so I can hang with them and look just as awesome as

they do. Does that sound lame? I also want to get my BB pierced :)

can't wait :)

Have a great day!!!

Beej :)

I don't think I have a favorite store (I love ANY store where I catch

a bargain!) but I do have a few goals...

1. to see light between my thighs! I can now (I'm on my second

challenge) but only when I'm wearing my lycra workout capris so that

doesn't count.

2. to be able to wave and not have that loose stuff hanging

down...I'm definitely improved in that area compared to where I

started but it's still there.

right now with the summer here it's a lot easier to stay motivated

but I worry that once the cold weather hits again, I may not be as

motivated. anyone else think that way? I'm thinking I'll do serious

maintenance mode till mid january then do another challenge to get

going for summer!

I actually shop at my favorite stores, (when I can afford it) but now

I'm in a different size and looking at things. I never would have

looked at. My favorite stores are Abercrombie & Fitch. Gap, Lucky

and the Secret catalog. But when I reach my goals. I'm

going to Exposure (a bathing suit store) And I will try things on

and not cry because everything will look good)
