Guest guest
, That 44 foot one look pretty good. What is your website address? 2 inches isn't enough. You can get 4 inch foam at fabric store in twin or full size and have cover made for it bt seamstress. Even that is a little stiff for fulltime bed I think. You could get 2 4 inch ones. --- In , Christ <antares41-41@...> wrote: > > That was my web site! Guest guest
Sorry, I meant the 44k dollar one. I believe it said it was 22 ft. How many outfits can you fit in wardrobe of trailer?? I'm not a clothes hound but I have a minimum no that I could live with. How do you link up to the internet Rob? , That 44 foot one look pretty good. Some progressive RVparks won't allow you to use them anymore. Organic material is meant to be broken down by bacteria and fungi. The more we " mess " with the ecosystem, the worse off the entire world will be. Just rinse the tank often. I agree about the cover for the slideout, but longterm I find that the roof cap is the most troublesome spot. That's where most condensation in RV's is concentrated. You can see the wood swell and bow up in the plywood capped RV's that people are using year round. Been in plenty of Sick RV's. Just like sick buildings, people very often have no idea why their health is so bad. If I were you, I'd take the summer to replace the roof cap with a mold resistant material- even if it is a new RV. Seems crazy, but it is horrible to have your refuge " go bad " in the middle of winter. Been there and done it. > I am planning on throwing out this mattress that came in my trailer. I was eying those inflatable's at walmart. I was thinking they would be great because they are plastic and can be washed. Who is the manufacture of that backpacking solid foam " Thermarest " mattresses , can I google it? Sounds like a good solution for me if it can be washed. > I know sam's club sells vinyl covered 2 " thick mattress. I have used them in the past. They can be wiped down. Funny thing though one of those things started growing mold on it when I left it sitting unused for a month or two. > Somewhere I have a picture of the mattress from my new RV after some months of use. I wrapped it in plastic straight off and thought that this was a good preventive measure. But eventually even through the plastic, I could feel that this the mattress " went bad " and when I unwrapped it, you could see the outline of where I sleep delineated in pure mold. Mold really grows well on the foam cushions in RV's. I fought with that for years and kept replacing with more foam. Just smell that new foam that they use. Loaded with stuff that I don't want to breathe, and there's no real reason to. I just use blankets folded to approximate the size of the zippered covers. This way, you can wash them if you get spore plumed. The closed cell Therm-a-rest backpacking pads available at any mountaineering store, wash easily and are supposed to be CFC free. That's the best sleeping system I've found. -

Guest guest
Barb, 22' would be kind of crampt, more than likely no closet to hang things in. I might be wrong though. The 28' Kodiak I have is pretty comfortable for one person but it's larger than the same length airstream because airstreams are rounded and not built like a box like most of your lower end travel trailers are. Including my kodiak. Airstream's would be a moldies dream come true though with the aluminum construction and the high quality shower that's not as likely to leak behind the tiles like mine will probably ultimately do. Also the rest of the units are built to a much higher quality standard than mine. You can buy one of those and still be using it 30 years from now. Mine on the other hand like was saying about the roof, " I should just go ahead and fix it now before it starts to leak because it's just a matter of time. " I have road runner as my ISP, but use a program called hotdog to publish web pages. I started using Hotdog and got familiar with it and I did not feel like trying to get past the learning curve of some of the others like dream weaver, or front page. It takes so long to publish web pages. The hours get lost very fast if you are a novice like me. Than of course you have to try to make your content interesting and in my case try to avoid slandering an industry you oppose while at the same time exposing them for who they are. In particular the medical establishment for their hand in the mold coverup scandal. I do have some more mold pictures I wanted to share with the group at my site right now. Warning they are pretty scary. http://home.tampabay.rr.com/rchrist9/ On Sun, 19 Feb 2006 00:41:11 +0000, you wrote: >Sorry, I meant the 44k dollar one. Guest guest
Barb, Yes it is now, I have not had a web presence for over 3 years now my life has been so hectic. I have always wanted to get the site back up but just been to overwhelmed. I have been tinkering again with some ideas but it's just so time consuming. I did recently post some pictures on my site. I don't know how long they will be there though. If I get around to it I would like to make an actual website with links to mold resources and my mold nightmare story to put a personal edge to it. And maybe something that would embarrass the people trying to suppress the truth. Also would like to rally people to write their representatives. I don't want any of them to get the idea toxic mold is a non issue. http://home.tampabay.rr.com/rchrist9/ On Sun, 19 Feb 2006 16:44:31 +0000, you wrote: > >, >Is your website still up? Guest guest
, were your great danes sick also? Are they okay now? The one great dane was naturally spotted hopefully. I is so hard to tell from photos. Re: other pictures, those spidery looking things were mold on boxes, etc?? Wow, they really had a foothold in your place. What made you realize what it was??????? Lucky you had sense to get out. --- In , Christ <antares41-41@...> wrote: > > Barb, > Yes it is now, I have not had a web presence for over 3 years now my > life has been so hectic. Guest guest
Barb, The brindle one lived to be almost 11 and died of osteosarcoma (bone cancer) Which is a ripe old age for great danes, I think the average life span is around 9. One of the black ones got a liver condition at 3 years old which I was able to nurture along for about 2/1/2 years. She finally got a mass growing in her abdomen and I had her put to sleep. The other black one died of osteosarcoma at 8/1/2 years so there seems to have been a cluster of cancers but that is a common problem with danes too.(Probably from fluoride in the water supply) The large male fawn with the black mask died young, around 3 years old. He got a fever stopped eating and drinking and reached around 106 degrees and died. It was one of the most horrible experiences I still feel pain from loosing him so young like that. They never seemed to be chronically ill nor did I until 1997 when I first started getting sick immediately after the wholesale exposures to granular pesticide products used at morton plant hospital. I had the mowing contract there. It took the better part of a 40 hour week to mow and the pco put down thousands of pounds of the product over the 1 year period I maintained the property. I haven't got any more pets since, I can't afford them, and even if I did I can't tolerate the dander. Well I figured whatever it was that was killing me I wanted to know so I started tearing up my floors and walls and finding the mold. I tried to remove all of it but the house won, I had to leave. >Lucky you had sense to get out. Unfourtually it took me a from 1997 to 2000 to realize I needed to get out of my house. I loitered in the back yard and my rental next door for another 3 years and than I got the sense to move out. So I guess you could say I didn't really have as much sense as I would have liked to looking back in hind sight. On Sun, 19 Feb 2006 22:30:12 +0000, you wrote: >, were your great danes sick also?
