Guest guest
I hate to complain, but all day yesterday I was complaining. My legs are so sore!!! I can barely walk, sit down, stand up... My dh keeps asking me if I want an Ibuprofen, and I tell him no, because I read in this group that I want my muscles inflamed to grow. I have been taking glutamine, but that hasn't really helped this time. However, I do feel stronger as well. I'm exhausted, though too. It's already past 9:30 and I haven't done ubwo and my dh wants me to take it easy today, to rest and try not to strain myself. Quite frankly, I'm very tempted to do that. Any suggestions? TIA
Guest guest
My legs are sore too from a workout (squats & lunges) I did on Sunday. I'm still walking strangely around the office and using the handrails in the restroom. I couldn't do my normal cardio this morning -- legs just couldn't take it -- so I modified by walking and increased the incline for intensity. I do suggest stretching and moving as much as you can because it help keep you from getting stiff which makes them feel worse. Hope you feel better. Trust me -- I'm feelin' your pain! : D -JB > I hate to complain, but all day yesterday I was complaining. My > legs are so sore!!! I can barely walk, sit down, stand up... Guest guest
That's what I do too. If the body is just too sore, there isn't any reason to push it. Keep up with stretching all day long and do what you can. Hope you're feeling better! Guest guest
, I remember my first week was so painful and I just wanted to quit. But your UBWO should be done, if you could walk at a very slow speed on the treadmill (like 1 or less) it will help. It feels awful at first but it really will loosen things up. I know it sounds like torture, but trust me, it will make you feel better. Don't skip your UBWO, because it shouldn't really be that affected by your legs. And the movement is good for you. Try ice/heat alternating. I used some of that A5-35 Rub deep heat. It helped some, even though it's really stinky! lol Hope you feel better soon! Guest guest
I'm also on my TOM... I started last week, but made it through every workout and didn't cheat once. I just felt so sorry for myself this morning with my soreness that I ate pizza. I'm so ashamed of myself. I just feel so gross because of my TOM and I usually eat whatever I want at that time to comfort myself. I've been craving pizza and chocolate. But this afternoon, I'm going to get right back on the bandwagon, I'm now taking my supplements and I'll do UBWO tonight with my dh, after Noah goes to bed. We're going to the pool today so I hope to relax there and I'll take some cc and yogurt whipped together. By the way, how much CC should I do with the yogurt? Please help me with all this... I need some real motivation. Does anyone else get like this in c1w2? Especially after you've seen small results?
Guest guest
, I got frustrated my first week! lol I had PMS, started this new program, I was sore EVERYWHERE and really cranky. So don't feel bad, just do like you plan and get back on the horse! You typically won't notice physical changes until at least week4 or 5. I'm in week 5 and just started to REALLy notice the muscles I'm building...it's so rewarding so stick with it! Just think 2 or 3 more weeks, you can take your progress measurements and pictures and they will remotivate you. I'm not sure about the cottage cheese/yogurt....I think just even portions would do right? Maybe someone else knows for sure. Tink laalaa1236 wrote: > I'm also on my TOM... Guest guest
Yes - do your workout. You might need to lower some weights, but remember the exertion level is your personal perceived level. So if the weights you did on Tuesday are just too heavy today, then just lower them so you can do them correctly. In a week or two the soreness will start to subside to a manageable level and you can continue to progress with your weights. Good luck! A sore hiney is a sign of a great workout! If so, your LBWO workouts shouldn't be that close together. If you did LBWO on Tuesday, then you'd do cardio on Wed and UBWO today, cardio tomorrow and then LBWO again on Sat., etc. Colleen
