I have a well, and I still have three filter in line before the Technos,

which has an activated charcoal filter. So, yes, filter out as much as

you can.

Jim,

If you have bad city water, is it a good idea to pre-filter (like with

How good is the pre-filter on the technos in terms of getting rid of

metals and other polllutants?

Technos warns that using level 5 alkaline water immediately can cause a

rash up to 3 months. I had one for 11 weeks, thn 5 off, then 7 more on.

It sure seems to get something out!

Jim,

What kind of a set up do you have for the three filters? We're

looking to really get clean water in our home. Any specific product

reconditioned would be appreciated.

I've been looking at APEC reverse osmosis units. The have a

four stage filtering system. Fairly reasonable prices, and they claim

to get out even hard to filter metals like cadmium. Has anyone used

one of these units? Any pro or con recommendations or other

choices would be appreciated.

Technos? Have you experienced any detox or healing from drinking

Jeff,

None. I just bought the machine and started using it. I have a bunch of

pint bottles from some cases of water I bought at Wal-Mart, and I

re-fill them. The pint size helps me keep track of how much water I have

had.

But, I had done high dose Homozon for almost 5 months. And, I had been

juicing fresh vegetables & fruits daily for over a year. They's both

some detox.
