I'd like to pass on information about the first ever national Earth Day

walkathon ( " Making the Link " ) sponsored by the Washington, DC nonprofit group,

" Center for Health, Environment and Justice " (CHEJ.org). NFI

If you have a local group that you think would be interested, please pass this

information on, and of course consider getting involved yourself, as this

pertains to what each of us deals with every day.

Note also -- 75% of the money raised would go to your own group.

If you'd like to take on the Making the Link event, or read more information,

please visit:

http://www.chej.org/walkathon/

" Our environment plays an important role in our health. The first annual Making

the Link Walkathon is unifying groups' voices and raising awareness across the

nation about " the link " between environmental contaminants and the rising

incidence of serious health problems in America. Through Making the Link,

thousands of walkers nationwide are making the case for taking precautionary

action to win back a safe, healthy world and prevent environmentally-linked

illnesses before they occur. Health-threatening chemicals are all around us - in

the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. Here is our chance

to come together and make change happen! Join with us by participating in a

Making the Link Walkathon in your area " .

-- please email Liz at ldraper@... for any information.

Spread the word!
