Make sure to post some pics of your soap & mold when you're ready. Colleen http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com > > I am leaping up on my soap box (pun intended) because I now have one!!! After many makeshift soap boxes etc, I finally went and got the wood to make my own official wooden soap mold! It has a lid and everything...I am feeling very crafty so I had to share! Guest guest
ooo you will like it i am sure. I was the happy winner of a " real " wooden soap mold at last years gathering. it was the first time i used one. before that I would just use pringles cans or orange juice/milk cartons cut and shaped into rectangles. my ends always had annoying seam marks and the sides always bowed out. I was so excited to see straight smooth edges from my wooden mold. I was determined to get more offical molds. I am excited for you as well. How fun. enjoy... other note, PVC pipes work great too if your looking to make round bars. no work in building them either, though you may need to find a saw to cut it down to size. then get the ruber pipe ends to use as a bottom. super easy smooth bars you dont even need to line it. > > I am leaping up on my soap box (pun intended) because I now have one!!!
