Guest guest
I have a really good HTML editor, so I never noticed Excel can save to an HTM file. There are a couple of minor formatting glitches, but the info is there for anyone who wants to figure it out before I have a chance to answer emails tomorow. The URL is http://entrance.to/5phases/ On the left you will find a calendar list with male & female columns. You look to your birth year, then to your gender column. Once you know what you are, then, at the top to the right of the list is a chart that pretty much fits on one 600X800 Windows screen. At the top/right of this chart, find your element, say Zhen/wood. Going down this column you see this one's harmonious color is green & its number is 3. Just to the right of the column with the heading " Chi type and symbology " is a column with the letters A, B, C, D, etc. The A thru D are the ones we are looking for. They are the productive directions. To the right of the letter D in the Zhen/wood column is the letter E, for East. For restful sleep, the best directions for the head to point are, in this order of preference, D, C, B, A. For the most productive/least tiring work position, the back should point toward the same letters in the reverse order of preference: A, B, C, D. For skeptics who feel this sounds like a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, I agree, it does. But, it works anyway! That's why it's been around a long time. ;-) There's a whole lot more to it. This is not superstition, religion, or imagination. It is just one small, practical application of feng shui, which is the compiled Chinese observation of the flow mechanics of Life force energy, chi, prana.... whatever label you wish to use. What it is, is this: over a few thousand years of practical observation they figured a few things out. ;-) jim -- " Coming events cast their shadows before. I find it very interesting; also dismaying in that I KNEW I was going to find out that I was 'headed' in the wrong direction<G>. This will give me more incentive to finally get around to reading the Feng Shui book that's been hanging out here. Guest guest
Sharon, If you haven't already picked a feng shui book, I have one to recommend. When I got mine I went to Waldenbooks. They had 14 different ones. I sat on the floor and looked at them all. I bought two. Two days later I threw away the $30 one. This one was about $20. IMO, " The Complete Idiot's Guide to Feng Shui, " (Alpha Books, ISBN 0-02-863105-6) is fantastic! It not only takes one step by step, lightly tiptoeing through many complicated concepts, it debunks the " coffee table feng shui " concepts that phonies get into. He occasionally says, " If a feng shui consultant says this, then they are a phony! " and explains why! Just the way this guy expresses himself, you know you can trust that he understands his material. And his comic relief notes throughout the book show he doesn't take himself seriously, just the art he is teaching. If you try this one, you won't be sorry. jim Sharon sey wrote: > > > Jim Lambert wrote: > > > > > http://entrance.to/5phases/ > > Jim, > > Thanks for taking the time to put all this info down for everyone.
