I found that I never see my own posts unless somebody replies.Don't have an answer for you except to suggest that you look at the ingredient list on the bottle and start from there. RenaIf God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God. Hoping someone has a recipe that closely resembles Odwalla's or Naked brands green smoothie. My daughter loves them, and I'd like to make at home what she pays a lot of money for at the convenience store! I bet home made would be healthier too. Guest guest
Hello Eileen,I've seen the ingredients on those - they are often sweetened with apple juice. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't apple juice concentrate. Adding apple or white grape juice concentrate to a regular green smoothie would certainly make them taste more like the store bought kinds. Also, blending according to the instructions on my juice recipe - http://vitamixlady.com/recipes/#Fruit%20Juice would help it be nice and smooth. And finally, hopefully, you could wean her slowly off of the higher sugar taste and onto just plain fruits and greens.Have you tried my "Emerald Ecstasy" recipe with her?http://vitamixlady.com/recipes/#Emerald%20Ecstasy Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Jan 31, 2012, at 7:50 PM, eileen_blass wrote: Hi all, I tried to post earlier but my post never got published.
