Guest guest
Rhonda, I haven't been able to check in for awhile, but I do see some of your posts and I am so impressed by what you have learned and accomplished in such a short period of time. Also, I am impressed with the people here and how Carl and others have helped you. This really reminds me of my own nightmare, dealing with everything on my own, cleaning, cleaning, throwing things out, etc. No one even offered to help me either, not my family, friends, etc. Just try to do what you can little by little. I may have missed this info, but did you get a dehumifier or air purfifier? I think the mold also made me very chemically sensitive, and I had lesions on my scalp, but changed to all natural shampoos, which I would suggest for you. In fact, I have learned to detox my whole house and lifestyle. I did have a cleaning service steam clean all my carpets, furniture, and they wiped down every surface in my house. It all must have helped, since I had the air tested pre and post remediation, and it did show drastic reduction in the mold spores. I don't know about the detox stuff, but milk thistle is good. I usually follow advice on that stuff from Dr. Weil's web site. Guest guest
I wish I could keep up with links people say I can get good things from but I can't. Can someone tell me links to order normal daily use things from that is for sensitive people. I need all the help I can get and not sure the sites people have given me so far. I do have a Whole Food store here that sells better things without all the toxins etc. So much to do all by myself and if I didn't have this group, not sure if I could survive. My animals are about the only thing that keeps me alive and not much else to live for. I get the blahs so bad and feel yucky so much I'm not sure what is keeping me going and more times than ever do I feel like giving up but if I do, will suffer like mad until I die b/c no one around me cares b/c I look normal so to them I am. I even had a guy I was dating disappear b/c he thought me thinking about suing was ridiculous b/c he has rental houses and said he could be sued also. Just thinking of hisself and selfish. I hope I took spores to his house!!!!!! and shows he didn't care about me at all. I had another guy I met that once he found out I had mold, never called me back so he must know it's a bad thing. I didn't like him anyway so one way to get rid of them!LOL I should have saved some mold to send to the builder with the letter. I still have a petridish from my air vent maybe I could send that. Would that be illegal? Probably not since everyone thinks mold is normal. Course I'd rather had send mold from my plenum that was furry and fuzzy and gross. I should have had someone scrap a bunch out and put in a ziplock... Ok, being the shrew here as I should be. Going to chill out. I can't even think enough to write two letters, one to builder and one to neuro. Where's my other book??? I sure wish I had someone that could think well and write two letters for me that sounded professional. Ha ha, got a bunny thumping under the bed and no one under house now, I hope. They thump in distress or hearing sounds or just an attitude. Boy they had a lot to deal with this week with all the drama. Oh, yes got a dehumdifier under house and a super sump pump along with a encapsulation that is 20 mil thick and is polyethylene and covers all the dirt and walls and just great. AC guy tho tore places and I don't like him much for that. Reg. Waterproofers came back and patched but pisses me off way more than I can say b/c I'm not sure they found all the tear. $11,000 and they tear stuff. I have to train them to use a thick drop cloth or plastic and carry their mess with them when they leave. I cleaned my shop vac that I demanded they clean up their crap and it was disgusting. Dirt, mud and gross and where did the get that from??????? It was totally clean under there when they started. I'll never get it. May inspect under there Sunday but I have had it up to my neck and just want to think, do something beside frickin MOLD. I hate MOLD and I hate MOLD.............................................Driving me INSANE! AC guy said we tried not to tear anything. He knows what they did and I won't have him back again. That is just stupid beyond my belief that he can see all that work going on around him and come tear my expensive cleanspace and walk in my house with nasty boots. Ok, I'm losing it now.
