Guest guest
Respecting VitaLady's wishes this is the last one here for me but: Dear , You're welcome to go all persnickity on us on such a subject! In these days of living in such a duplicitous advertising (and political) culture it's paramount that we all be fully in our sovereignty about our health and well being. I think one of the pernicious side effects of consuming the standard american diet these days is that we tend to go numb, emotionally and physically. Becoming more green and smooth with our Vitamixes will surely help restore our self-awareness and our sovereignty. Neil Re: About Splenda Not to get persnickity, but that response alone shows the dieticians ignorance about recommending soda, when she says it is okay to " have a can or TWO a day " . Most people don't realize that a " serving size " in a can of soda is less than one half of the can-the " servings per can " label on the back of a can shows that it is 2.5, meaning that the nutrition info (calories, sugars, etc) is based on that amount PER serving-not the entire can. I use a Sodastream home soda maker to make wonderful soda-you can buzz up some fresh ginger, dates, agave nectar, berries, etc. in the Vitamix to make your own flavoring, then carbonate plain water in the Sodastream to add to it, avoiding the sugars, chemicals, or preservatives in canned soda. I think there are others on the list that use the Sodastream too. I sometimes see them on ebay and Amazon, or you can see them at http://www.mymealmasters.com in the webstore. ------------------------------------ Please bookmark these pages: /links/ (this is the Links page where I save the answers to FAQs and Answers, Recipes, and LOTS of other helpful information - this page is always being added to) /links/IMPORTANT_Vita mixEnthusiasts_Membership__001327149393/ PLEASE DON'T UNSUBSCRIBE IF YOU ARE GETTING TOO MUCH MAIL!
