I've seen that on my lettuce and just thought it was a layer of the lettuce.  I can't imagine how they could spray down inside the leaves and not have it clump on all the bumps and crevices of the leaf.

That is a very interesting article. I have seen that thin film, but

thought it was part of the plant. And it seems Mercola even does not

know whether it is natural or not.

Ugh...I actually had this film on my romaine lettuce a few weeks ago! I threw

it into my compost, wouldn't even feed it to my animals. Glad to see this

article, at least I know it wasn't just me.
