A neat alternative to spatulas- Plastic toddler spoon!

I have been making a lot of nut butters, pancakes and dips in my VitaMix, and I haven't bought a VM spatula yet. Often I am making stuff for my kids, and when I was trying to dig out my latest concoction, I saw one of my kids plastic spoons on the counter-top. These are a cheap easy alternative that I have found to work great. They are plastic mini-spoons that can dig into the corners easily. The hard plastic makes them pretty cut -resistant. Best of all, they are cheap and come in multi-paks. 

I am sure the VM spatulas are great, but these are certainly an acceptable substitute.Have a great day!Chri
