Guest guest
I freeze bananas in ziplock bags all of the time with no brown appearance. What I do is wrap them individually in Glad Press 'n Seal first. Then, I put them into a ziplock bag and pop them into the freezer. I've never had a problem with them turning brown or having any kind of freezer burn and I've frozen them for a couple of months. If I used my Seal a Meal (Rival's version of the Food Saver), I'd have to freeze them first and then seal them up, but I've found it's not necessary using the Press 'n Seal wrap first. I've used both the regular (which is what I use as my primary wrap instead of Saran Wrap type products) and I've used the "freezer" version of Press 'n Seal. Both worked equally well.
