Thanks. blessings, Paresh
Guest guest
I'm assuming that this is a nice guitar.. (a cheap one I would just replace..) Maybe you could figure out a way to *lightly* sand-blast it out (gently!) then use UV light or sunlight, perhaps reflected into the inside with aluminum foil (?) to do its anti-mold thing afterward.. But you need to remove the mold growth.. for your health, and then inactivate the part that has grown into the wood from growing any further.. as it weakens the wood and could continue to do so further.. This is just one idea.. Be careful! You know, before you follow my suggestion, I would ask an expert.. Especially if there is varnish inside the guitar. Varnish is very important in musical instruments as it is part of their acoustic design.. On 2/4/06, Paresh <sunmoonyoga@...> wrote: > > Hi - I have mold growing inside the body of my guitar. Guest guest
I just read this post. It was a very hard part of leaving my home, my two loves in life (besides my dog) are my acoustic guitar and my drums. There were to many yes you can and no you can't clean thems for me, I had to let them go, I cried when I scratched the words " Toxic Mold " in my prized possesions. I did this so nobody else would be exposed and try to use them. I chose my health over them and sometimes wonder if it was worth it.
