Guest guest
I want to thank you all for your responses to my note. I just don't know what is going on. I still have my amalgams in because I was researching how to do this right and try to fix some problems, mainly leaky gut and all that goes with that. My hair should have been high calcium at the time I was consuming a good bit. I had to drop dairy and now I am not sure I consume enough. I tried some carbonate the other day with mag and something else in it and I think I tolerated that but it was so low dose, I am not sure. Another thing that may be a clue is I need very unusual amounts of potassium. At one point(this may have started all this mess??) a doctor put me on a potassium sparing diuretic. Right after starting that med my body started to dump salt. I had a copious amount of saliva that tasted salty but I did not realize what was happening. Even though the drug warned of eating or taking potassium, I could take supplements of it and feel better?? Anyway, I became so dehydrated and it has stuck with me ever since, this is YEARS like this. I took myself off this drug and it did not alter my dehydration. I still fear summer every year. I cannot tolerate the heat at all. I just don't know what to do about all this. My blood levels come back normal, at least in everyday bloodworks. I am probably insulin resistant too and I fear nephritis at my toxic times, which is always. I am getting better since I have gone mainly veggies and some raw and juicing and no diary, wheat(or any other gluten grains), beans, chicken, turkey, sugar, potatoes........ Guest guest
It occurred to me that you may have been taking too much calcium or the wrong type of calcium for your body chemistry. A lot of the calcium that is sold is wrong for most people or the dose is too high. A person should not take more than 300 mg of supplemental calcium with a meal. Preferably about 250 mg of chelated calcium or calcium citrate and a low energy calcium like 50 mg of calcium gluconate. If you are taking a 600 mg calcium pill, at least break it in two and take only half a tab with meals. You get about 200 mg calcium from your meal so taking calcium that way gives you about 1500 mg calcium daily. Also, hydrochloric acid is necessary so if you are low on that, you will have an assimilation problems. Calcium carbonate is not a good calcium to take as it stresses digestion and very little is assimilated. Potassium and magnesium aspartate together are good sources of those two minerals. If you are easily dehydrated, take a little salt once a day with water, and make sure you are getting one-half your weight in ounces of good pure water daily. Also, make sure you are getting enough oils so that water is not lost through your skin excessively (if your skin is dry.) Just some thoughts.... There was a long discussion on the silver list about the Rheams method and different kinds of calcium for different ph's. I'll see if I still have anything. ~^^V^^~

I have had some very bad trouble recently with pain in my colon? and it might be these supplements are not dissolving with my dehydration. I have taken oils, I had some reaction with EPO and fish together so need to take them separately. I bought flax, it is nasty, I cannot use it with yogurt as I am allergic to dairy. I will get back to the flax. I can chew the seeds no problem but I have no normal saliva, stemming back to that diuretic that dumped my salt and etc. Calcium carbonate is not a good calcium > to take as it stresses digestion and very little is assimilated. > Potassium and magnesium aspartate together are good sources > of those two minerals. Guest guest
Hydroxyapatite is best for the osteoporotic woman if you think that applies to you. One that has the associated bone building factors with the hydrox. are even better. Remember, that I mentioned the soft tissue calcium like calcium gluconate or Standard Process's Calcium Lactate (not the regular calcium lactate because the pH is totally different). Those will help cramping. Four things, really five, will cure the cramping - calcium, potassium, magnesium, vit. E and then the non-flush niacin, chromium hexanicotinate. I've never seen a case not respond when all of those are given. Of course, the forms of these are important, and there is frankly a lot of junk formulas out there. I have the advantage of seeing the good stuff work since I have my own sources in my clinic. When I go to the health food stores, I just don't see the same stuff. I don't go there to get but a few supplements anymore - MSM lotion, brewers yeast/garlic tabs for my dog, bentonite clay solution, etc. Mostly I order from my sources, and it's a little secret, but we get the best stuff. > thanks for the suggestions. I have taken all forms of calcium > but had read that hydroxyapatite? is best but have not acted on > that. If you have pain in your colon, I would advise not to be taking HCL, protease, bromelain, or ascorbic acid. These things can irritate the sensitive colon. I've been there. It's not pleasant. > I use Betaine HCL and sometimes with digestive enzymes, enzymatic > therapy's brands. Flax oil is as good as fish oils for those that do not tolerate the fish oils. If you are so sensitive, try juicing, even if you have to dilute the juice with water, better yet, try juicing cabbage which will heal the digestive tract. Perhaps you have been taking too much and need to pull back to the basics. Start with the juices. May God guide you in this trial. Not knowing more about you, I cannot suggest anything else, but I wish you the best. JPrice
Guest guest
" Calcium carbonate is not a good calcium to take as it stresses digestion and very little is assimilated. " Not good for what? Calcium carbonate has its place as it is useful for absorbing toxic material in the gut. As far as stressing digestion, it is not absorbed so how is that a stress on digestion? Guest guest
Try eating a few rocks and then get back to me later on that question. JP > Not good for what? Guest guest
No thanks , If you can't respond in a forthright and clear manner, there is no getting back to you on this subject.
