Guest guest
Dear , My degree is Doctor of Chiropathy. Chiropathy is a form of healing that aids a person in discovering that : - wellness is dependent on the unification of body, mind and spirit; - each person is responsible for achieving and maintaining his/her own optimum wellness; - such wellness is completely dependent on following natural means and therapies; and - prevention of disease is well within the ability of each person. The Chiropath only points the way towards total wellness by offering sound advice and educational opportunities so that each person can make intelligent, informed decisions about the various factors influencing his/her total wellness. The state of wellness is a natural state of being, regardless of the age of the person. The Chiropath regards each person as an individual with individual needs. Full attention is given to tailoring a wellness plan which is appropriate to that person. Emphasis is given to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. The building of the immune system, the cleansing of bodily toxins, the awareness of the causative aspects which created the illness, and the mapping out of an intelligent strategy to strengthen the body's natural healing abilities is the focus of the Chiropath's program. Guest guest
Hi List, " Mark. G. Lester " wrote: > sounds like another word meaning naturopath to me. whats the difference? > > mark > I did a search on " Chiropathy " using Metacrawler, my search engine of choice. Unfortunately the only info I came up with was from Quackwatchers, a forum I normally don't give the time of day to. I encourage any one else who is curious as to where the Dr. and DCh in Saul Pressman comes from to do their own search. Saul, In my reading on Chiropathy I learned the course is 18 months, with a cost of approx. $2400. The definition of doctor or Dr. in Webster's Concise English Dictionary is; 1.(n) (Shortened in names to Dr.) person who looks after people's health, learned person with the highest degree from a university. It was interesting to see you refer to yourself as Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh. When did you finish your course and where did you take the instruction. and , Thank you for asking the question. Guest guest
Dear Diane, I was allowed credit for my three books and wrote theses on Bach Flower essences, healing herbs , and the authority given by the Bible for the practice of chiropathy. I had to pay three times as much as you quoted, as well. Best of Health! Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh URL: http://www.plasmafire.com email: saul@... Guest guest
I judge people by their character, knowledge, and love of self and others, not by the number of degrees hanging on the wall. There are many kinds of doctors, and unfortunately even somewhat knowledgeable people mistakenly use the word Doctor to imply MD. This is especially true in the US. We have become a nation of fools. As was rightly pointed out, as Doctor is one involved in healing or having a doctorate degree. Certainly life accomplishments are more relevant to the designation of a person as a Doctor that memorising and passing tests in an academic setting. I know many people who have a Ph.D or MD and absolutely no common sense. IHMO, these higher-level skills are requisite for someone to be acknowledged as a Doctor. However, having many degree certificates may come in handy should one run out of toilet paper. Keep up the good work, Dr. Saul, you're ok in my book. You've been right on the money every time (except for the glutamine issue - LOL). Thanks for helping me. When I first got on the list, I had no clue what was wrong, but you and Dr. Jim basically helped me save my life. Live Life Fully and with Integrity. M. Guest guest
Thanks for saying that out loud, Matt. I " judge a tree by its fruit " and I couldn't agree more! I have been reading Saul's posts since I first joined the oxylist a couple of years ago. And, my personal opinion of his expertise is this: If Saul says something I listen! If I ever disagreed with him, I would doubt myself first! jim Matt Curtin wrote: > > I judge people by their character, knowledge, and love of self and others,.....
