Guest guest
Most demonstrators when showing how to chop ice add water then turn the machine over and there is a pile of slushy all chopped up ice and the water drains away. You could try this and spoon it? But no, it isn't going to make ice "chips" - just snow :-)I just tried it in the wet and the dry blades. Both made snow, but the snow in the dry blade was of a different consistency (and I can't describe it with words :-) Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Jan 22, 2012, at 1:20 PM, Kirstin Crossland wrote: Hi, my husband is running a fever and asked for ice chips for his throat i thought I could do it in the VM but I got a combo of snow and big chunks. Guest guest
Since my dry container is just being ordered tomorrow, I can't experiment to see the difference in consistency but I will when it arrives just to see )On Jan 22, 2012, at 3:37 PM, Lea Ann Savage wrote: Most demonstrators when showing how to chop ice add water then turn the machine over and there is a pile of slushy all chopped up ice and the water drains away.
