This must be a very difficult time for you. I hope you are OK.

Thanks for thinking of us and sharing this - it is helpful.

I am so very sorry to hear of this and I can't believe right now that

I am actually tongue tied. I hope you are doing ok and I truly

am concerned with you and all that has happened recently. When will

the authorities ever learn the deviastating effects these toxins have

had on many lives and families. What I'm feeling right now I just

can't seem to put into words, because they almost seem so senseless.

Is there anybody out there really listening? Do you have to wait for

it to affect your personally or a loved one to become alarmed? Grrrr.

our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and you

are more than welcomed to email me personally so that I can contact

you.

Sincerely,

KC & Sharon

Janet,

What were you trying to post? Everything was deleted except the suicide

part.

But, one again, many people can't take the odds we're dealing with, and

there are a lot more suicides over our losses (doe to mold exposre) than the

medical, governmental, or insurance environments want to recognize.

thank you for sharing this with us. I can't imagine how difficult this

decision must have been for you. You chose to share a very private part of

your life in hopes of helping others.

I've seen men with toxic mold illness become very violent. I also wonder if

men are more prone to such symptoms as women.

Perhaps these two deaths will allow us to become more aware when we see such

behavior changes in those exposed to chronic toxic mold. Sadly if they do

threaten us or others with physical violence we must protect ourselves as

reasoning with them is impossible.

I am also very sorry about your ex-husband. Even though you

weren't married anymore doesn't take away the pain. My sympathies.

I really don't know anyone on this list, partially because being sick

is a full time occupation for me. It's consumes to much of my time

reading and posting on this group. But I suppose I could rearrange my

priorities. I didn't know Bob, but can relate to the pain he was

going though. I am shocked and saddened. I wish I could have gotten

to know him.

I too was exposed to neurotoxins (granular dursban) on a wholesale

level and have no doubt that their is a definite connection between my

illness and the exposures.

I lived happily in my moldy home for 14 years before coming down with

this immune disorder. The pesticides were the one thing I did

different in my life. I do remember back in 1983 when I first moved

in having problems with fatigue and headaches and shrugging it off.

It didn't keep me from working 50 hour weeks in the hot sun as a lawn

maintenance contractor. I am not sure the pesticides were solely the

cabalist that caused my severe immune response to mold but have to

wonder if I was not ever exposed on the level that I was if I would be

so susceptible to mold as I am today. I think it's possible that I

could have gotten sick solely from the mold but will probably never

know being as their is liability attached to it and that powerful

people will make sure that the truth never comes to light.

Don't get me wrong, my house was 50 years old and was a mold pit on

wheels. I have pictures of it! I systematically tore it apart

looking for what was the cause of my illness before finally throwing

in the towel and having a distress sale. If anything could make you

sick it was my house. I can't deny that.

I had black mold growing inside the walls underneath the drip pan

from my ac unit which would overflow on occasions and saturate the

ceiling before I discovered it. My kitchen floor was flooded one time

and the plywood underlayment was covered with stringy black mold which

branched out like a root system does underground only on a 2

dimensional scale. The floor joist underneath the kitchen had

green/black mold growing on them. It was a moldpit from hell!

I have since moved out of my house and still am sick all of the time

and tend to stay in my trailer I bought brand new hoping to escape the

mold. It was not my first attempt. I have moved to holiday fl where

I had a house that also had mold, I moved to my rental property next

door, I slept out on a porch in my rental property next door, I spent

two years underneath a carport in my back yard. I finally sold the

whole ball of wax thinking that was the only way I will get better is

to rid myself of all of it. I bought a sailboat and lived aboard it

but it had mold to. People talk about trying to reach others and

telling them what they have to do to get better. But I understand

completely, it's called denial. When something is to painful to

believe you don't want to believe it so you continue to bang your head

against the wall. I finally after two years of being sick in the boat

am where I am now in a brand new trailer. When I first moved in I was

sicker than I was in the boat. I finally realized that the computer

monitor I was using had black mold growing on the circuit boards. I

always wondered why the longer I spent in front of my computer the

sicker I got. I thought it was some type of chemical coming off of

the circuit boards. The static electricity in electrical appliances

creates a negative charge which causes dust to stick to them. Dust has

organic particles in it which is very yummy to black mold. Everyone

has seen this on the back of a tv set, on the top of a ceiling fan,

etc. Folks when you move if you insist on being stupid like me and

taking things with you at least take the cover off and see what you

have living inside of it. Blow it off with compressed air if there is

any trace of mold on the circuit boards throw it out! You have no

idea what that simple act of getting rid of that monitor did for me. I

than read a post by eric about pillows and though duhh these pillows

are at least 4 years old, maybe I should get rid of them. That made a

big difference! I am still sick now and still struggling. I have not

gotten to the point of stuffing pillow cases with towels and throwing

away everything again including my new monitor. I know how desperate

Bob was. I just hope that I can get out of this nightmare somehow

one day. Maybe the men and women in medicine will one day grow a

conscious and stop prostituting themselves out to the chemical

manufactures and the insurance industries and do what people

desperately need them to do and that is a simple diagnosis and a

simple treatment. Think of how much different it would be if the

stooges in that industry actually gave a rats ass about the people who

so desperately need their help. Imagine a dr sending a air quality

expert out to my home 9+ years ago and telling me that I have to move

out immediately. Imagine if the government actually had halfway

houses for people who can't afford to pay a mortgage on a mold pit and

stay at a hotel simultaneously. And still not be assured that they

are going to be safe from mold. I am really pissed off at the people

we depend on for our health they suck! I am pissed off at the

politicians I have written on more than one occasion. I am pissed off

at the epa whom I have written, and I am pissed off at the dept of

agriculture whom went out of there way to see that my exposures to

pesticides never got documented. I am pissed of at the business

leaders that control and coorse all of these people. I understand why

someone would stand on top of a tower and start shooting people, I

don't condone it but understand it. They simply lost a screw.

.....you are a true MOLD-WARRIOR.....regardless if divorced or not,

these things still hurt, especially if you had children with them?

I think perhaps it happens more with men as they are not as likely to admit

there are problems.....it is a " man " thing......although Bob had no problem

admitting his MOLD problems, he didn't give attention to the Lyme

problems.....Neuro-Lyme is deadly and doctors who are not experienced in Lyme

disease and its

co-infections tend to not put much effort into understanding the effects of

neuro Lyme. We are blessed to have doctors like Dr Schaller, Dr Shoemaker, Dr

Levin, Dr B, Dr and many more, who are treating Lyme patients.

Keep a smile on your face, love in your heart and walk with the angels,

holding hands in the " chain of love " .....
