, et al,

Since you're not experiencing any symptoms, one lemon a day is

fine. They are delicious, aren't they? It's like drinking water.

We don't like it because we don't do it. But, after 3 days of

drinking it, it becomes delicious!

I find that a couple of months after a flush I feel almost worse

because once the larger stones are passed, smaller ones come

forward and clog the filter too. If anything, this is worse, as

smaller stones clog more effectively. This is why we have to do

3-5 flushes a month apart to really clean out. So, I like the

idea of lemons slowly meltimg away the goop for me, since I don't

flush regularly.

The nausea attendant to a flush is usually caused by eating foods

that tax the liver, such as meats, fats, spices. I drink only

fruit or vegetable juices and eat only things with no sugar,

butter, fats, etc. for 36 hours. Oatmeal can be eaten the morning

of a flush and one can drink juices til the afternoon of a flush.

I never noticed stones passing on lemon alone, but I had been on

high dose Homozon for 3 1/2 months with the lemon, so I doubt I

would have. I took 1 heaping tablespoon of Homozon twice a day in

water, followed by the juice of a fresh, whole lemon in OJ as a

chaser. They have to be mixed in the stomach, not the glass. I'd

build up to that dose over a week or two. BTW, I was doing this

as an intestinal cleanser, and discovered the liver cleansing by

accident.

A reaction to lemon sounds strange to me, Larry, but not too, too

strange. I get a bad reaction to taking ascorbic acid. I simply

can't take it in high concentrations. I get some kind of boil in

the tip of my nose. And, since that location indicates heart

involvement, I back off. In my case I think it was hyperacidity.

But an allergy to citrus? I don't know. Saul knows where to get

the right freeze-dried aloe vera (no heat, no additives, inner

leaf only, etc) to alkalinize in 5 days. I don't have the info

handy. There should be no allergy to that.

I got some litmus paper from a list member, Price, Ken. But,

I agree that it is only one bit of a byte, ;-) I find a " wide

range " aquarium test kit is very helpful. It goes up to Ph 11. I

also do regular blood & saliva tests for hormones. I am taking

hGH injections & testosterone, DHEA & progesterone in cream form.

If you're interested in the alkaline water machine, I'd first

read a book named, Reverse Aging, by Sang Whang. I got it from

www.toolsforexploration.com It explains how the technology works

& what they have found its water does for our health. There are a

few postulations he makes I'd disagree with, but not on the

water. He explains a lot of Japanese research into the

technology. They have been researching it since 1953. There is a

large body of research behind it. I like it because I am

alkalinizing with hydroxyl ions, which are also premium radical

scavengers. It uses direct current to separate the acid minerals

from the alkaline, making both acid water with positively charged

hydrogen ions & alkaline water, with negatively charged hydroxyl

ions.

Jim, the pH paper I gave you was the same one we use in the office

and is totally sufficient for human urine and saliva pH's. If you went

outside the range on that paper and stayed there, you would not be

with us for long.

The reason I mentioned the wide range Ph test kit is that it has

a greater variation of color in the human Ph range than does the

test paper. It seems to me the paper just tells me I'm in the

good range, where the wide range kit gives me a better idea where

in that range I am.

But, I'm still new to this, and experimenting.
