Students at Ferry Elementary School will attend class at Ferrysburg School so the mold can be eliminated. School officials say the mold, which was found in one classroom, has been tested, and presents no immediate health risks. They tried to clean it up over the holiday break, but the mold returned. School wasn't scheduled for the next two days, but classes scheduled for the end of the week have been cancelled. Parents are invited to an open house at Ferrysburg School Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. if they have any questions about the move. Classes at the new location will begin on Monday. Students and staff will stay at the Ferrysburg School until tests show the mold is gone.
