Guest guest
There's no one particular person, but my office loves a reason to eat cake, sweets, whatever. We have birthday breakfast the second Friday of every month. And they eat junk while I sip on my water. One guy said the same thing to me -- come on, it won't hurt you! Do these people know the meaning of the word discipline? Or the concept of Eating to Live and not Living to Eat? There are only two other people in my office of about 40 who go to the gym regularly. No wonder they look at me funny when I tell them I get to the gym 6 days a week. We're having a going away party tomorrow for a lady who is quitting her job. Cake will be served. I swear, can't someone think of a better way to send her off? Uhg! > Do YOU have anyone like this? > >
Guest guest
Why don't you tell him you found out you have all these food allergies. you can be allergic to chocolate or what ever ingredient is in what he is offering. Guest guest
last week a co-worker actually waved a doughnut under my nose!!!! what a b!^@%. I think she's jealous of my restraint and wants me to be the " old " Angie. Instead she inspired me to have a " less free " free day. I don't care if I ever see another doughnut again. Guest guest
Take a piece or two and save them for your free day - this way - you have the goodies you were craving and don't have 1/2 a bag left to tempt you all next week. OR you could just be honest and say " I am on a special eating plan and don't eat junk 6 days of the week " . Those people will usually spend the next 3 weeks trying to get you to mess up though too ! Darn Weenies! > > > > > Do YOU have anyone like this? > > > > > >
Guest guest
That is priceless!!! That brings to mind an incident that happened at my office a few weeks back - Friday is jeans day and I am standing in the breakroom making my lunch and 3 women are talking behind me about some topic - then out of the blue I hear one of the three say " God those jeans are tight " - I was the only person in the room besides this wench and her pals so it WAS me she was talking about - no doubt. Heifer - made me wanna lose another clothing size and go buy a tighter pair of jeans! : ) > > > > > Do YOU have anyone like this? > > > > > > > > >

My office was having Pizza the other day. I LOVE Pizza, but I love getting results better. So while I was sitting there eating my W/W tortilla and turkey wrap, someone says to me- " You don't like pizza? " I said-Yeah I love it, butI am allergic to it...It makes my ass swell! Got some dirty looks on that one!! Oh well! -Summer

Guest guest
As some one said on another board, it doesn't taste as good as thin feels.(insert healthy, strong, lean) > In , " Summer " <> My office was > having Pizza the other day. I finally learned to tell people I'm allergic. At least it gets them to let up on me. No one seems to appreciate it if I say I'm eating healthy or just don't want something. Darn Weenies! I totally agree with this advice!! This is what I do at work too, and it actually has turned out to be a help to me. I tell people that I eat really healthy 6 days out of the week and then I can eat whatever I want one day out of the week. People have been really cool about it. Occasionally I would take Free Day during the week, in which case I would eat a doughnut or something if someone had brought them in. This would usually elicit horrified stares and gasps of " You NEVER eat that!! " to which I would say, " It's my day off from angelic eating. " and then people usually asked more questions about my eating plan. Or I get the " Don't offer any of that to , she doesn't eat that crap. She is a good girl. " Actually said in admiring tones, not sarcastically! Pretty nice. Of course, I have come across the a$$holes too, but I usually just smile and say firmly, no thank you, several times if necessary. You just have to let stoopid comments roll off you like water off a duck's back. Keep in mind that in 10 years, all those negative people will actually LOOK 10 years older (or maybe even look 15-20 years older) and all of us will not look a day older than we look now. Hopefully. Guest guest
You can also say. " Sorry, I have heart disease. If I eat that, I'll die. " I do that to my co-workers all the time and they just laugh at me. They know i'm not serious but it reminds them not to push. debra > > > My office was having Pizza the other day.
