Would someone refresh my tired mind, are stores open on January 1st?

Games are on television and stores are open as I recall last time I

cared to know.

Incidentally, happy new year! I hope everyone gets BETTER and lives

in mold-free dwellings in 2006!!! It doesn't hurt to wish.

In Canada only we have ONE drug Store open at noon (out of at least a

dozen) just for emergencies , some corner stores are open at noon, and all

Mall and other stores are closed. especially since it's Sunday . Hope this

helps, not sure what U.S. policy is. We do not have Sunday shopping YET up

here LOL! Happy New Year Every One!

Thanks . Apparently almost everything is open here!! I guess

Christmas Day is about the only holiday where almost everything is

closed now in the U.S. Grocery stores and department stores

apparently are all open.

Here Walgreens pharmacy is open 24/7 all year long. It's a good idea

to have at least one pharmacy chain that is open always.
