Guest guest
I would be inclined to believe this is true. Although sometimes, posts that are of a personal nature, are put up in response to posts that are meant for public awareness. I think this is appropriate. Sometimes, people want to share what has happened to them from the situation. It's just the nature of the beast in many cases. But with that said, if you post something that you think is of significance to many, and you see your point getting taken off target, it is important to repost your train of thought in a concise manner. Take the initiative to get the discussion back on point. Just my two cents. Noise that is CALCULATED to DECREASE the credibility of the forum.. Many blogs have found themselves OVERWHELMED by meaningless posts from people who deluge them with info-babble. The goal is to drive their regular users away and to devalue the forum. I am sure that the same people who are PAID to do this to (usually political or environmental) blogs are also hard at work on mailing lists.. I am not pointing any fingers.. just stating what I have seen elsewhere and heard blog-owners complain about. Just a heads-up
