Guest guest
Hi Dagmar I know you had to paint for England in your bid to reduce the Lead issues - have you tested the surfaces after the special paint? Just wondered. Didn;t know if you saw the posts about the metals testing kits - I have some on order and will check same sample of urine I sent to DDI to see if their is correlation in the results. I just bought a couple of the ones for Lead and Mercury. Will let you know how we get on Mandi Stripped doors? Dagmar. Re: Re: Lead in water This is interesting, we had an under sink reverse osmosis filter installed 2 yrs ago. It's supposed to filter out 99.9% of everything, I assumed that included lead, anyway sons test came back as being high in lead, so where else can it be coming from? Guest guest
Hi Mandi, Yes, I have tested after painting over the lead. You don't need any special paint either. The lead does not come through once you have painted it (don't sand it though in the process). Wax reduces the lead, but doesn't stop it coming through altogether. I didn't see the posts about metal testing kits. I might look them up sometime. I wonder about the urine tests though, couldn't they either show current exposure or past exposure, which the body tries to get rid of (especially during chelation)? I would be interested though in the correlation between DDI and other tests. Dagmar. Re: Re: Lead in water This is interesting, we had an under sink reverse osmosis filter installed 2 yrs ago. Guest guest
Yes, I was thinking of using to gauge output if they prove to be accurate. I can;t afford output testing otherwise. Waiting on results now from fecal, urine and hair after 70 drop challenge with TD DMPS. I don;t agree with challenges as you know, but I am hping these this help our case for NHS funding of DAn dr apps Mandi x didn't see the posts about metal testing kits. I might look them up sometime.
